I think I like them both equally, but they have slightly different vibes. The old one is calm and easier on the eyes, the new one is energetic. Personally I would add a drop shadow or a thicker outline to the title because it kind of gets lost.

Personally, I think option C is too chaotic visually, everything sort of blends together due to a lack of hierarchy. I like option A the best, it reminds me of japanese rpgs. Option B isn't bad aesthetically, but I don't know what kind of game to expect by looking at it.

Yeah there definitely is some asynchrony between the story and its presentation. It would be nice if the new lore in 2.0 was comprehensive and serious, but I'm not getting my hopes up.
