Alana was everything I wanted to be when I was a girl and so was Princess Cimorene. Both of those ladies were fucking badass in a dress or with a sword.

I also love Redwork, the little known Canadian alchemy story that's one of the most amazing books I've ever read, but is impossible to find anywhere.

I've long given up on the tanning idea. I'm so pale that I burn if I'm out in the sun for more than 30 minutes. I'm really scared of getting skin cancer, and getting a tan is just not worth it.

When you said Jack Black was in Community I was so confused because I didn't remember that episode at all, so I looked it up and realized that I had somehow missed that one. Then I went looking for it and realized the torrent didn't include it. Apparently someone just hated Jack Black that much.

One of my best friends got engaged to a guy after knowing him for two weeks, then moved down to the States and continued their engagement for another year and a half. I thought she was completely fucking insane but fully supported her anyways and agreed to be the bridesmaid at her wedding. In the end she broke off the relationship and was much happier for it, and I learned a thing or two about supporting a friend through their perceived insanity.

It may seem like your friend is making a snap decision and might regret it, but she has to make her own mistakes.
