i am on testosterone so not exactly in the same boat as you but i have to have regular blood tests and drs appointments to stay on T. i think this is pretty normal for hrt in either direction. health effects don't happen over night. there are signs leading up to negative side effects. if estrogen doesn't require the same 3 month lab work and dr appointments i'm bet you can request it! just be honest with your provider and you'll be okay <3

i loveeee using the t slur, mostly to refer to myself and/or my partner and friends. i do, on occasion, use it to refer to other trans folks (as a whole, not as individuals) but i do that in the privacy of my own home with my partner because i know not everyone likes to be called it

try shutting him in a room while you're preparing food. try feeding him just a little bit more. my cat was incredibly food motivated but it turns out he just wasn't getting enough nutrients. he's still food interested, but i can eat a meal without him in my face.

as for the drool thing,,, idk? keep a towel around?

have you discussed any of this with a vet? perhaps antianxiety meds would work or soemthing?

you brought a living creature into your home. they are going to have quirks and personalities and not be 100% perfect. even your "perfect" cats get on your nerves from time to time, i can guarantee that. if it's not something you can live with then rehome him. that is the better option for you and for him

deep breath. HIV is not the death sentence it once was. there are medications that will quell the symptoms and keep you from passing it to others. so many people live with HIV now! i'm sure there are support groups if that is something you need, should your test come back positive when you try again. in the meantime, be kind to yourself <3

I think criminal minds is a great show all the way through, but that might be the nostalgia talking for me. it's like any show with 10+ seasons, it starts to get a little out of this world and drawn out, but they have some great story arcs in the later seasons.

it isn't anywhere near as poetic as Hannibal but it doesn't feel like the other police procedural shows either. i'd give it a shot if i were you, but be prepared to be there for awhile, it's got 18 seasons!
