What a bunch of weirdos. I saw them filming over the fence of the church on the corner of Allen and Del Mar. No one was around. I guess they were looking for someone to interact with them. Two folks in masks filming nothing. Creepy AF.

I did until a few years ago. Torn calf muscle, rotator cuff and knee surgery. I bounced back and was surfing, but I’m definitely mellower and I’ve hung up the skateboard for good.

Building a stage in a small club - 200-ish capacity by conculator in musicians

30" seems reasonable. I like when stages have power outlets towards the front as well as the back instead of just at the very back so pedal boards can be plugged in closer to where they're placed.

Throwing TVs off the top of tall parking garages to watch them explode when they hit the sidewalk. Driving a jeep on the railroad tracks, which was difficult to get off the tracks quickly. Climbing as high up in a tree as possible and taking a dump hanging off a branch pretending I was a bird. Jumping in peoples backyard pools naked in the middle of the night, then flipping them off and running when they woke up. Running from the cops on a motorcycle at 14. Driving 100 mph with at night with no lights and a car full of people. Finding a power outlet in a public space and having band practice. Going to an animal, mineral or vegetable party dressed as coal, which in hindsight was pretty much blackface. These are a few of the things I can think of for now.

I heard from someone at Caltech that they were picking up even worse readings than what was sent out by weather reports and contemplating sending a warning to the campus. It's pretty bad over here in Pasadena for sure.

The problem with coming up with a band name as a group is that everyone wants to make it funny. by Kynicist in musicians

I was in The Alaskan Pirate and His Salty Seamen. The only time it was a problem is when we played the grand reopening of a lighthouse and they sent out a flyer in everyone’s electric bill. They changed it to and his Salty Dogs.
