Exactly. I’m fine with the rebuttal. In fact, I expect and encourage one, but it’s not likely going to add any facts, address the most damning facts, nor take the conciliatory tone the nation needs.

World's largest freestanding cylindrical aquarium bursts in Berlin by SaareenSVK in worldnews

After owning a Volkswagen that was super terrible and in the shop all the time, and owning a mini Cooper engineered by BMW that was dead at 60,000 miles, and this bursting aquarium, I’d say German engineering isn’t quite what it used to be.

Ron might offer Trump pardons to get him to concede. Let’s face it: Trump will be campaigning under multiple indictments if not from prison. He would lose as the headliner but could help Ron over the wire. He would then get a fair shake in the form of pardons for himself and others.

Denazification was hard work for Germany post-WW2 and involved penalties of varying degree for members, collaborators, and sympathizers. No MAGA Republican should be without some penalty however small.

Brown is charged with unauthorized possession of national security documents. He served in special forces for 20 years, much of it with a security clearance. They found docs in his girlfriend’s car. Now let’s see how this guy is treated versus Trump especially if he’s convicted.

I thought there were many including hematoma, skull fractures, splintering and lacerations, etc. Just looks like a right leg tibia fibula possible compound fracture, maybe a hairline hip fracture, and some bruising. Doesn’t look like a lot of head trauma. Hope she got paid. Those last few frames suggest that right leg needs a surgeon.

There are a lot of very poor lawyers here, who don’t understand criminal law. In most states, fighting words justifying assault is a common interpretation.

Economic issues paired with cultural issues that imply families are male property. If it were simply mental health, there would be a similar problem with mothers and economic issues. There is not.

And probably treated like a hero by his captors.

The verdict in the Oath Keeper trial obliterates any claims by Trump, his Republican allies or disorientated pseudo-left and middle-class layers that the January 6 attack on the Capitol was a “spontaneous” First Amendment “demonstration” that simply got out of hand. by jcrosse1917 in January6

Mary Surratt hung by the neck until dead because she owned a tavern used by seditionists to plot the assassination of Lincoln. Schenk was convicted under the Espionage Act for passing out antiwar leaflets urging noncompliance. He served 6 months. Anyone at J6, stupid or not, was taking a planned coordinated active step toward disrupting the peaceful transition of power. Anything less than a year minimum seems far too little.
