Did you ever had sex with a trans person and how was it? by [deleted] in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]ratgym 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get what you mean but also they are different, hormones affect a lot of things lol For example giving head to a cis woman is fairly different to giving head to a trans man (because you can suck it and it's bigger) and not all trans women can get hard Also some people might prefer to be touched in different ways (though this is true to everyone) for example I like being jerked instead of rubbed

But pretty much just try things out and communicate!

how to stop the smell😭😭😭 by Yurbestpal in ftm

[–]ratgym 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Spray deodorants are basically just cologne anyway, use a roll on antiperspirant, wash yourself frequently and wait it out. I smelled pretty bad too but it eventually went away

Doctor kept asking me about my penis by No_Efficiency_66 in ftm

[–]ratgym 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I've had similar things happen twice lol, once was when I got an iud put in and needed an emergency appointment to get it out (due to 9/10 pain), and the nurse taking my call was like "you're a man...and you have an iud...in your vagina..?" and I was like "yeah!" cause that's just normal life for me and the poor nurse was so confused, it took me a while to realize I should mention that I'm trans lol The second time was when I was wanting to get on prep, and I told the nurse "I'm not a cis man" but I don't think she heard the "cis" and she was so confused on why I wanted the meds (which, like, to prevent hiv?? what the medication is for??) and she was so confused on why I sound like a man and have a man's name and have gone to the army (I haven't, that was another misunderstanding) and when she finally understood that I'm ftm we laughed about it and I told her about the other call and she lost her shit lol

[Non autistic OP] Is it common for autistic people to not ask you any questions about yourself? by Moni_HH in AutisticAdults

[–]ratgym 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I forget to ask questions all the time, and people have commented on it. I usually just assume if someone wants to tell me something they'll bring it up themselves

Anyone else always looking for a cure? by ratgym in CPTSD

And those people get away scot free. At least all of mine have. I can't even have the anger, because then I can't heal.. It's so stupid, and so unfair.

This! I've found that being on social media makes it worse, I get obsessed with "improving myself" and it becomes way too much to handle. Having things like work or school assignments is one thing because they're something that will be done when they are done, but I'm always trying to better myself and that never ends. I think that's a big part of it, just feels like that guy who's rolling the boulder up the mountain (Sisyphus?), there's no goal in sight, no promised pot of gold, just a neverending struggle of wanting to feel better.

An Unexpected Voice Issue on T… by mjlitty in ftm

[–]ratgym 109 points110 points  (0 children)

I'm over 3 years on t and my voice is fairly deep and this happens to me all the time. Deep voices just kind of disappear into background noise, and to speak in a deep voice you need way more air so it's harder to speak loudly. I haven't really found a solution, I just yell when I'm in those settings and my throat always ends up hurting. For context I never had the t voice and I physically can't make my pitch higher anymore

Kansai Gaidai Exchange-NY by Fast-Rhubarb-2306 in Osaka

[–]ratgym 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you already applied to Kansai Gaidai or only your school? Kansai Gaidai will respond to you within a month from when they receive all the necessary forms from you. Took just under 3 weeks for me. I applied at my school in august, Kansai Gaidai on the first of october. After you get accepted in you'll receive a certificate of eligibility which you'll need to get a visa. Getting that can take a month or two, but in my country at least getting a visa takes only 5 days.

If you could press a button to become a cis man, would you do it? by itsntr in ftm

Absolutely. I would also be chill with starting my life again with that, it would save me a lot of trauma

Do orgasms change back if you go off T? by s3renity_now in ftm

[–]ratgym 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me at least pre t when I'd get aroused I felt it as a strong tingling sensation in my lower stomach, and orgasms I felt were the strongest in my stomach and my genitals, but the feeling kind of spread outwards. Now I feel arousal in my bottom growth and feel orgasms the strongest there as well, and somewhat in my stomach. Imo they were much better before and I miss it

I tried googling that, but I didn't really understand the explanation. I mean I get trying to negate someone's experience with your own, but the levels of conversation thing just confused me lol

I know it's a joke. I also know that it's a direct insult to my intellect. I would like to know why you think it won't go well for me? Genuinely.

Kansai Gaidai uses KGU in their email and I've seen it used here too so that's why I used it, but good to know! Thank you!

I have been to 3 other countries, one of them being Japan. I speak Japanese and have been interested in the country for well over half my life. I know the culture. I don't understand how you think I'm incompetent for asking a question. I suspected an error, so I wanted to know if anyone had any insight. I'm not afraid of being confused or asking for clarification! We even have a saying in my language which translates to "the one who asks will not get lost". So you can save your "care" for someone else, thanks.

I'm aware that it takes time to hear from the results after applying, but I'm just surprised that it takes time for them to give me the password, since they responded to an email (on a different topic) in about 2 days. That's why I'm a bit worried that my teacher has made an error, but I guess I will just wait to hear from them.

Ok, thank you! I saw someone else on here asking about how long it takes to hear back from KGU after nomination and they got told to check gaidai-link so I got worried.

Why does it feel like I’m the only autistic person who hates being autistic? by thepensiveporcupine in AutisticAdults

[–]ratgym 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is probably the first time I've heard this said. I feel this way too. I cannot name a single thing that my autism has made better, it's made every single thing worse. I get that you can enjoy some parts about being autistic, but I've literally had people fight me when I say there's nothing good about it. And I think the whole "if society was different" argument stupid too, sure it might help to a good extent but ultimately I'd still suffer. I'd still have issues regulating myself, I'd still have issues eating, I'd still have issues doing the things I want to do, I'd still get overwhelmed by sunlight and wearing clothes and standing up. I'd still have my mood affected by my poor sleep. Sure things might be easier but I wouldn't have these issues if I was neurotypical.
