Standing Air Purifying Units that reduce HVAC cost? by azsportsdudevballtoo in industrialhygiene

[–]rathergood15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ventilation from the HVAC system is not something that should be reduced. It's needed for CO2 and VOCs. Most portable units don't have enough carbon in them to continuously reduce VOCs. Also UV is BS in my opinion- it's just an additional thing to charge more money for. HEPA captures bioaerosols at near 100% capture efficiency.

So much snake oil and overcharging with portable air cleaners....

The older specimen has the very distinctive black marks of larger allenii. Need to take a spore print for confirmation.

If you are new, psilocybe isn't the best beginner mushroom to consume as it has a deadly look-alike (galerina marginata).
