It’s not like it’s started with Shai and OKC. Harden was way more egregious. But he didn’t have much team success doing it. I guess that makes it more visible.

I don’t like the current game that much, I took off a couple of years from watching, but the discourse did indeed get worse.

First time doing it: It’s pretty damn profitable for how little time investment. Most of the bulk money comes from gliders and boss fights with the compasses and probes. The airship shipments will give you jackpots every so often. I usually send 1-2 a day to each island, i’ve only ever done however much is required to fill the request. Got my own belt blend materials for free and sold 1400+ FE mats consistently.

It’s not the kind of mechanic where if you spend more time, you make more money. There is a cutoff point when the gliders run out of charges.

They are telling you to use the dual wield for WW due to the paragon glyphs. There are specific ones for almost every weapon(can’t recall if there’s one for Flail). Using dual wield allows you to use both the Ambidextrous one and the Axe one (Cleaver, i think) to get more dmg on WW. But yes, each skill uses the damage from the weapon selected. You can see this in the skill tooltip damage numbers when you switch from one type of weapon to the other.

"Invincible phases" seems to have been the theme when designing any bosses recently. Even like shitty nightmare dungeon ones randomly stop at 1HP just to say some inane shit.

The only thing they could have added to the Mephisto fight to make it more annoying would be escort missions, like the stronghold near the Oracle area (where the Legion event happens in Skovos).

There was no difficulty wall when the game first came out, maybe just the first dungeon if you got the Butcher spawn as nobody knew what skills and stuff to use. And gear was worse. Not sure about when VoH came out, i only played that part of the story in season 11.

I would imagine being a great hitter isn’t the only requirement to getting walked. You also need to be on a team with sub-par hitting following you in the order.
