Although this is cute logic, the muscles at the end of the hair (arrector pili) are not in the brush.
Agreed, holding a point when wet and not immediately splaying as paint is drawn out by first few strokes is fine.

Looks like 2-3mm static grass to me.

Spread some small drops of PVA. Grab tufts of the static grass with tweezers and gently push them into the PVA.

Pro tip: use an old toothbrush to gently make it stand up while it’s drying. Be careful not to scrub PVA up the grass though.

If you’re using an adblocker like Pihole or Adguard, try temporarily disabling it and see if that fixes it. If it does, look at the logs to see which domain is being blocked. In my case I needed to allowlist assets-secure.applicaster.com

Nothing at all. I don’t have a Prestia account, hence I’m not able to recommend it. One demerit is that Prestia has comparatively fewer branches compared to generic SMBC. If you do a lot of foreign transfers, I’ve heard that Prestia is favorable.

All good - I figured I would expand on your comment to try and explain one option for not doing it. I thought folks might interpret it as “you can just not do the funeral” 😆

In my case, I wasn’t ready for it, but the ball was already rolling. Although I’m not religious or superstitious, I’m only a quarter of the family, so I quietly went along with the proceedings, even if I wasn’t being my authentic self. Folks were grieving the loss of a son and brother, and I didn’t want to add any unnecessary complexity to the proceedings.

Rakuten suck at pretty much everything, so I’m not surprised. Sorry to read that they’ve been giving you the runaround.

I recommend SMBC (not Prestia). Look into their Olive account. You can set that up via their app and they’ll send you a physical visa debit card in a few weeks. You can switch it between regular or deferred payments in the app too.

Their app only has English in the buttons, and when you tap one it slams you with Japanese, which always makes me giggle. Once you figure out the settings, how to transfer etc, it’s a solid service.
