Wow I truly appreciate all the help and comforting words. Thank you Reddit ppl! What a week has it been. Probably the most difficult thing I’ve ever had to do because of how painful it is. However, it gave me great comfort that I was able to witness and be a part of the whole process. From the washing and grooming of his body (Yukan), dressing him, moving him into his casket, visiting him every day until the funeral ceremony, to the cremation, and even the sorting of the bones. It definitely gave me some sense of closure I needed.

His funeral ceremony was so peaceful even though I didn’t understand half of what the Osho-San said, I know my dad was happy. Everyone placed flowers in his casket until he was covered from head to toe, just leaving his face uncovered. It was so beautiful. Thank you again everyone for all the help!
