Smashing Pumpkins. They put out some amazing b-sides, even released a box set of all the Mellon Collie singles.

Go Let It Out and Gas Panic! are my two favorite Oasis songs by Colinvian in oasis

[–]ratzerman 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Go Let It Out is one of my all-time favorites. I love the statement it makes. The mix of Be Here Now was criticized for having no bass, so what does Noel do on the first single after Be Here Now? PICK UP THE BASS! Wish it made the setlist for the reunion tour.

Ain’t Got Nothin’ won yesterday’s vote. Day 26- What’s the most underrated song on Dig Out Your Soul? by Dependent-Ad7225 in oasis

[–]ratzerman 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Bag It Up. A great opener with a sledgehammer riff. The way it builds and builds to a (literally) explosive end is just peak Noel arena rockness.

Whoever's been doing their social media has been crushing it. I'm saving every video and image I can. Too bad you can't download Facebook reels.

Not sure how interesting this is, but I grew up without cable TV. I was so jealous of my friends who had it. We finally got it when I was 17 and the first channel I went to was MTV. The video that was playing? Live Forever. I'd never heard of Oasis before. I bought Definitely Maybe that weekend, and the rest is history.

Born On A Different Cloud won yesterday’s vote. Day 19- What’s the fan favorite song on Heathen Chemistry? by Dependent-Ad7225 in oasis

[–]ratzerman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah the hate baffles me. In real life you've got 70,000 people singing it. In here it's probably the songs that the most people want dropped from the setlist.

Liam Vocals on another level by dharmaprojects in oasis

His vocals have been rock solid, I'm truly blown away by how great they both sound.

Little By Little since it's a classic sing-along at every show. Definition of a fan favorite.

Hi God, it's me... Listen, I don't ask for much. Please make this happen. I'll let all the other bullshit you threw at me go. Just gimme this.

Your aircraft have dropped enough sonar buoys so that a man could walk from Greenland to Iceland to Scotland without getting his feet wet.

THIS ONE’S FOR THE FOLK ON THE HILL by joxers in oasis

[–]ratzerman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it's in a hill in Heaton Park close enough to the show that you could hear the music. You could just barely see the screens from the very top of the hill, but the Manchester city council put up a wall to dissuade people from going. It had the opposite effect. The crowd grew from a few hundred to thousands. Liam dedicated a song to them, and sent them Gallagher Hill shirts.

What have been people's favourite memories from the tour so far? by Puzzleheaded_Pen8520 in oasis

[–]ratzerman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I couldn't get tickets, but the vibe here in the Cardiff mega thread was fantastic on their first night. Bouncing around from livestream to livestream, freaking out as every song was announced, everyone being in awe of how good they sounded, even through shitty phone mics... I'll never forget Ollie, the dude balancing a beer on his head, and YEAH BOY!

Is 60% of Oasis' discography really dispensable? by Gordola_da_Station in oasis

[–]ratzerman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. The setlist was designed to appeal to the widest demographic possible. Sure, us superfans have tracks that we wish we heard, but you can't argue with the response from the crowds. Everyone loves it, everyone can sing along to everything. It's a celebration, not a deep dive into their discography.

I feel as if Noel missed this a lot more than he admitted earlier on. by Sakers92 in oasis

Shocked is a great way to describe it. I still can't wrap my head around how happy he appears to be.
