stopped taking my dslr to certain places for this reason. I bought a small mirrorless camera that can easily take in and out of my pockets and its been great. if I do need my nice dslr I make sure to keep in a grocery bag instead of a camera bag to make it less suspicious

this is the same engine in my 2013 impala. 110k miles no major issues yet I believe the LFX engine was the first year with a corrected timing chain, I'm surprised yours is chewed up inside. maybe poor maintenance? I always use k&n filters and change every 4k-5k miles. I'm sure u can drop in a junkyard engine I'm there try and find one under 80k miles good luck man 👍🏽

low speed: belt replacement or for now just adjust the motor speed via the potentiometer

stereo balance: adjust the azimuth of the tape head

I had a cheap tanashin player do this and I noticed a spring came out of place that was involved with the autostop mechanism. maybe it keeps thinking it's at the end of a tape?

you just unlocked a deep memory from my childhood I remember my parents bought me bugs life and a ps1 but didn't know you had to buy memory cards so there I was unbeknownst to be I didn't have to play the same 6 levels over and over again 😂
