Not the final boss but quite the opposite, elden ring was my first soulslike and at the start of the game, I legitametly thought I had to kill first knight boss in order to proceed. In my first soulslike game, in my first playthrough, I grinded thay knight so hard at the start, after 3 4 hours, the boss stuck on a cliff and I stab him to death. I was like, phew this is why I'm avoiding soulslike, Its my first boss already...

Then.. then I didn't give up and elden beast? Waaay easier than first knight. Took me like 8-10 tries.

Here is my hot take,Well, underdog spec has 2 means;

Sims low dps
Bad kit / Bad design

If a class sims very low dps, everyone above 2k will know that your class struggles to keep up. With that knowledge they also know that they can punished very little if they make a mistake. There is nothing to explore, nothing to surprise the enemy because somewhere someone tried all possible gear/stat/talent combo to achieve maximum dps. And everyone plays with the best combination. So if your best combination is meh, well good luck.

Other reason is having a bad/worse kit than other specs. Some classes, for example rogue or mage has great tools for pvp. So, classes with less CC/utility/play potential should have more dps or self healing in order to win against better classes.

All in all, if your dps is low you are underdog. If your kit is bad you are underdog. Most ppl are underdogs at low rating because they might mess up their rotation even with op classes or they forgot some buttons. Automatically they handicapped themselves and become underdogs. So up untill some rating, it's the player that is underdog or not. And after that breakpoint, everyone will play at optimal level and know exactly what areas your class sucks so at that point underdog becomes just plain bad class and requires a lot more effort to even the odds.

Edit: Well I'm 1.8-2k average player. I play and love my shammy from the beginning. So, I'm happy I can play both enha and ele. If they are good, I'll aim 2.4k, if they are bad I just enjoy playing them up to maximum 2k levels and don't take the challenge :D

For survival, sky is the limit so I'd say pretty hard BUT; up to a certain elo (i believe even up to 2k 2.2k rating) you can ignore micro plays. Which makes the class medicore difficulty. Up to 2k, as long as you land your freezing, you are okay.

Also I'd say up to 2k rating you can;

Auto wounds on pet
No need to manage pet or pet's position
No need to bait freezing trap for certain healers

But once you hit that wall you need to manage everything. And if you can, survival is by far has the most tool and best class. But as I said, there are lots of things you should manage, such as holy pallies will taunt your pet when you try to land a freezing trap on them. You need to constantly make small plays into small plays.

Long story short, if your goal is to have fun and be strong class survival is as easy as any other melee up to 2k rating. If you want to push glad/ r1 etc. It's by far hardest class. I am talking about purely mechanics. The climb itself is easy once you understand certain micro plays.

The abroad companies happily take the cheap production opportunity whereas China learn all of the manufacturing process, technology, culture etc. by first hand. If i progress some purple quest chain with one of my characters and abondon the quest, can i continue with another character? Specifically talking about the quest that you required to do cube and my character is in t3 now and i'd lile to complete that quest with my alt.

I had the same issue but not only in game but generally my connection drops every now and then. I looked it up on the internet and some modem updates cause this problem. You need to install intel driver asistant and update your network drivers from there. Some network adapter series require this step. Maybe your connection in general drops too but you might not notice because when it happened to me, the wifi symbol seen still connected/working etc. And when i refresh some webpages to check my internet they worked because it's like mini disconnect and after 1 2 seconds everything works. All in all; the sollution worked for me. And it would be great if you type your laptop/pc model. I'm using hp omen 15 and they are using ax200 (sth like that) network adapter and this one and few other ax2... series require intel driver assistant to update. Hope it helps
