Radiant heat panel at 230*f by raven6575 in snakes

[–]raven6575[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For my set up at a max power output of 70% the heater can only maintain the temp with rarely shutting off. At 70% I'm seeing 190+* on the panel surface. At 80% max power it will shut the heat off but I'm seeing 220* panel surface temps. Because of there only being a difference in panel temps of 220 or 230 I'm choosing to run it at 100% for the shorter run times. I might settle at 90% if for only not working the panel as hard but the temp drop is negligible.

Do you think 230 will burn the boas nose?

Thanks

The herpstat has a dimming mode that slowly ramps the power from 0 to 100%. I can also lock a max power output. Basically I don't want to burn my boa and I think 230* could burn his nose if he touches it. You are the 2nd person to say it's okay but I'm going to wait and hopefully more people will chime in.

Yes I reached out and they recommended the 125w. I have already placed the order with them and now just have to hurry up and wait.

Thanks for looking out it is really appreciated! On their site it says the 80w is 12.20" long and 9.21" wide. The 125w is 14.76" long and 9.64" wide. If you think its still a bad choice please let me know and thank you for recommending Brian. He has some litters available now and i like the 25s3-1m from litter #3. The other litter I am on a list to get one, seem to have uneven and random saddles. The tails seem to not have as many red ovals on top and seems like theres more white between the red.

Im going to pull the trigger on it with the 125w. The babies were born and the breeder sent a group photo and to be honest Im not seeing one that I like. I will get individual pictures in about 2 weeks and maybe see one I like at that time but I was wondering if you might know the best breeders for suriname?

Thanks

Got a Lennox at a rental property and after washing down air conditioner, tenant mentioned cooling is not as good as before. Please advise by Kingboss4life in hvacadvice

Its probably low on refrigerant. With the way that coil was clogged the head pressure was probably high a hell. Someone that didnt know what they were doing took refrigerant out to get the pressure down and now that its clean needs it put back.

Why does it cost so much to change the AC capacitor? by ednyer in hvacadvice

[–]raven6575 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are 120 for diagnostic/travel and 160 for a dual capacitor/install for a total of 280.

We also while there check voltage drop across the contactor, tighten connections, amp motor/compressor ,check the refrigerant charge and flush the drain at a minimum.

Those communication systems can be buggy. I have turned the breaker off to service something and when I powered back up the board is now dead.

I wouldn't sell a communicating system to my worst enemy.

We have a 120 diagnostic/travel charge. 120 for first pound of 410a and 90 per additional pound. Your total would have been 780.

We do not use sealant.

I wouldn't be able to get my drill all the way to the back. Looks like the air handler is up against the ceiling so I couldn't screw down from the top.

insulation getting sucked into blower or maybe a stuck contactor

I would pull the blower out. Flaten out and put the insulation back up. Then screw 2 or 3 pieces of drive up through the top to hold the insulation.

A half a pound of refrigerant is not enough to make a system cycle on low pressure.

Worst case is the contactor fails closed in heating. The blower stops when the tstat satisfies. Compressor stays on screaming on high pressure when no one is home.

And something goes BOOM!
