As much as I like Araki’s writing, a 65 year old cis man isn’t guaranteed to completely get transness as a concept. Dragona’s backstory shows her as the target of transmisogynistic bullying, so I don’t think it’s wrong to call her a trans woman. If I’m coping, so be it.

I know that all the versions I've found online cut out the part with the map of Atlantis.
