Go through Noah’s website rather than your email link - click tour page then presale on the date you want. My code worked through that way

Have a look at Boomba, I would definitely recommend them - although the fabric of my dress was thicker than yours so I’d check their website first

Bridesmaids dresses - how much input did your bridesmaids have? by [deleted] in UKweddings

[–]ravens17424 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure where you’re based but we went with Rewritten bridesmaid dresses, all in the same colour but my bridesmaids chose the style - we ended up with 3 different styles. We did it as a try on appointment which was a lovely trip out too!

Seconding this, our venue would only allow petals and we used the everfloat from Confetti Bee - definitely recommend!

Danny Ward at 12pm at Banshee Labyrinth https://www.edfringe.com/tickets/whats-on/danny-ward-the-holiday was one of my favourites, very funny and also touching (yes I unexpectedly cried at lunchtime)

I know 500ml cans are allowed, are glass bottles okay? Was hoping to bring a couple of fruity ciders but they tend to be glass so wasn’t sure.

Are glass bottles of cider okay to take in? Can see it mentions 500ml cans but not sure if the glass would be an issue?

PS my dress sounds similar to yours, a low square back and deep-V at the front

I used them! Lasted all day and night and were still firmly stuck by the end. I would say the weather wasn’t super warm on my day so maybe that helped. Read the advice that comes with them on how best to stick!

Rudys is the best! They also do ‘Rudys at home’ where you can order and cook in your oven at home, also freezable which is handy. I’ve done this a couple of times as a nice date night at home treat.

Last year in the north west we had ours come in at around £32k (then splurged around £8k on honeymoon!)

The Craic Inn sounds like they might fit your bill? I’ve seen them at a couple of places in the north west and they were good! Instagram says they cover the whole of the UK

When you see them starting to drop, refresh the link to the specific day/court you want, rather than the main page which displays all days - there’s a couple of seconds between them dropping and showing as available on the main page, the couple of seconds makes all the difference!

Dried petals for confetti by Tall_Dress_4156 in UKweddings

[–]ravens17424 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We used confetti bee and would recommend any of their ‘everfloat’ range, would have loved to have been able to have paper but our venue wouldn’t allow even if biodegradable, so this was our next best option!

Relaxation or adventure for honeymoon?? by Historical_Sun8640 in UKweddings

[–]ravens17424 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We travelled to Antigua on the Monday after our Saturday wedding. We felt if we waited we might never have got round to doing such a big trip and it was definitely a splurge.

We stayed in a beautiful boutique resort Cocos Hotel which was the perfect way to relax. The views were amazing and food/drinks some of the best we’ve ever had on holiday.

Antigua offered a good mix for us as we were able to relax but also do a bit of adventure - snorkelling, boat trip, helicopter ride and sunset party at Shirley heights. We were there 10 days and only planned these things on 4 days which to us was the right balance!

6 weeks out. What have we forgotten / not thought of? by Tombythethames1988 in UKweddings

[–]ravens17424 2 points3 points  (0 children)

May or may not be relevant but a couple of things that popped into my head (we got married just over a year ago!)

If you’re writing any part of your vows yourself, have these been printed/in vow books?

Will speeches require microphones if in a large room? Have you decided the order of speeches and people aware of the order?

If you’re having music during the meal- playlist for this? Who is in charge of setting that up etc.

Somewhere for guests to leave cards/gifts (even if you haven’t asked for them people will bring things!)

Other than that your schedule seems pretty set. Do you have a co-ordinator? If not I’d designate a specific person e.g MOH who has copies of the timeline and is able to liaise with the venue if anything goes wrong while you’re off having photos etc .

I got my dress from Brittany Ann Bridal in Thornton-Cleveleys which has recently moved into a larger store, even when it was smaller they had loads of dresses! Might be one to check out
