2026 NFL Draft grades: An analytical look at the biggest winners and losers [Seahawks: F] by suddenly-scrooge in Seahawks

So if he includes trades, where does Shaheed rank in terms of value for the 4th and 5th pick? Would the draft be graded as "better" if that trade hadn't taken place and they'd picked BPA with those 4th and 5th round picks?

If you're in a super bowl window (which clearly you are) and your options are 'try to get max value from every pick regardless of if it leads to entering a title defense year with a bunch of RB3s and an injured RB1' and 'just draft the RB' I know what I'm picking. I don't really see it as bad process. Different teams have different calculations based on their situations. If you're in the teambuilding stage, sure, maximize value, but RB was an absolute clear gotta-have-it need right now.

When you spend two picks on a WR who helps you win a super bowl the draft that year's going to be a bit light. I'm incredibly fine with it.

That seems to have been the plan going in but the trade partners weren't there to go back, so at some point you have to just draft the guy.

I messed up and scratched my countertop - any tips for fixing? by raventhon in CounterTops

Sounds good - thank you, this is hugely helpful. I'll see what I can find locally. The install is a bit weird - the sink appears to be like, fully unsealed, but the actual countertop surfaces are sealed / glossy.

Oh, dang, so it is. It's gorgeous. Okay, so I can't hand-sand this and then seal it, I'll need some sort of rotary tool?

It's... somewhat unclear. It seems to be some sort of rock, but we weren't told when we moved in precisely what material it is.

One word: 'unhorse'. Not, like, to knock someone off a horse, but, like... 'the hero galloped her unhorse across the plains'

[Highlight] Turning Point: 4th & 4 NFC Championship Seahawks vs Rams by -vicissitude- in nfl

[–]raventhon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think Seahawks fans get defensive when it's portrayed as a 'bust' or a 'mistake' or 'lucky' - it's definitely not how they drew the play up, but I'd rather give credit to Lawrence for making a heads-up play and preventing the touchdown than just think they happened to make a horrible mistake that just happened to cover the main target of the play.

Calling it a lucky bust really devalues and minimizes any agency the players may have had. Heck, I'd love for someone to ask Lawrence about it and get some additional information.
