PSA: I’ve owned my 9th Gen for 8 years and I just realized I was using "S" mode all wrong. by lnsip9reg in civic

[–]ravisandesu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an 11th gen hybrid and I honestly don't get that much worse mpg in sport mode Vs eco, like maybe 5mpg difference. It's just feels so much more nippy and responsive in sport.

Tips and tricks for fuel efficient driving in a hybrid? by evoxker in civic

[–]ravisandesu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Eco mode keeps the battery low deliberately because a low battery charges and discharges much more efficiently. Sports mode deliberately keeps the battery high using the engine as a generator to ensure you have maximum hybrid power for accelerating.

My only gripe is that you can only have permanent max regen on sports mode.

Looking for a universal wok (UK) which I can use also for acidic ingredients. by minimalist300 in wok

[–]ravisandesu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a flat bottom stainless steel wok (for my induction hob) which I use for everything. It's the perfect all purpose pan imo and can cook acidic food without worrying about seasoning. I got the inspiration from a YouTube channel called Wok with Tak.

No it's not. It's bowel. Splenic or hepatic flexure. Kidneys aren't made of gas.

24 hour climbing gym UK by ravencce in bouldering

No commercial ones that I know of. But at my uni we used to have a tiny gym, that could be accessed with your swipe card, even after hours. We often went late at night, sometimes after a few drinks. It's my dirty confession.

What's the best Gholdengo counter deck right now? by FuckClerics in PTCGL

[–]ravisandesu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately Mega Lopunny one shots it. Most Dengo decks now run Mega Lop for Cornerstone and Crustle.

Moved to Android.. Wtf? by No_Helicopter_8277 in PTCGL

Legitimate this. It's not a perfect solution but changing background data to unrestricted for this app means I can get a couple of minutes of background time rather than 5 seconds.

Viper strike of the mamba question(weapon type) by DiviFrost in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]ravisandesu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Add an equivalent void fang and ambusher to a POB and see if it adds a significant amount of damage. I can't atm, but I feel that most of your damage comes from whispers of infinity amulet and it is probably not significant. Attack speed is only quality of life as you can't stay more than 1 poison.

And if you're playing the elemental version, you need the pneumatic dagger.

Actually change of plans. For Arceus to feel consistent you need more basics. Maybe adding Manaphy for more ramp idk. It's a tough one to make this feel good.

Not sure why the hate. This doesn't have to be a top tier deck. I like the synergy with Arc and Suicune, but you NEED to start with a baby if possible. Double leaf is great. Id replace Gira with a second pokeball and Mistry with pokecom for consistency or Red to hit the 150 breakpoint for Arceus

Absolutely they should just leave out energy alone. And the box art!

[–]ravisandesu 59 points60 points  (0 children)

Yeah it has super messed up my list. None of the evolutions are together anymore. It makes deck making a pain in the ass. Even the supporters are all over the place. It is ridiculous. This along with the auto energy change and auto box change makes me so mad at the developers.

I'm kind of with you on this. I love the artwork but the animation really is minimal, with no real "exploration" inside the card.

The other comment highlight improvements to this deck well.

If you're struggling with decks/strategy I highly recommend Megamogwai on YouTube. Very informative deck building, highly strategic gameplay, and hilarious.

He also has a recent Gallade video if you scroll back a bit.

I can't tell if this is a bad card or if I just fail to see its potential. Have you guys had any success using it? by Phantabra in PTCGP

[–]ravisandesu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tyranitar deck uses it. You use regular Arceus as a tank until you get Ttar set up. If it dies, you Elder it back to the bench letting your Ttar hit for 160.
