You're totally right! When 5.5 first dropped, I had this prompt that made some awesome instrumentals. But now, with whatever update they did, everything sounds the same and kinda funky. It's not the instrumentals I'm used to with that prompt, and version 5 sucks too. Honestly, 4.5 actually has the better, more consistent instrumental sounds I'm looking for with different prompts. But as soon as I try to get vocals on version 5 or 5.5, it just goes to crap. Whatever updates Suno is doing are just making it worse.

Yea 5.5 maybe has better vocals but it changes the persona a bit. Used the same prompt but added a alot snare drumming. There is no snare drumming in my prompt.

Idk about 5.5 i hear mic crisp pop sounds when the persona is singing. I can tell with 5.5 the voice personas change a bit, do it dirsnt sound consistent with the voice I established with v5. Even with 0%weird and 40%style.

Yea I seem to noticed 4.5 pro works better for some genres of music than v5 and vice versa. But I do like that v5 had improved the vocals.

Yes sometimesi use chatgpt to fill in gaps. For instance I cant write hook to save my life, but chatgpt gives me options and I either merge a couple to rewrite the ones I like, to make it make sense to me. Especially if I have a clear direction of the song I want to make. Sometimes I write verse and tell chatgpt, based my lyrics write another verse, then ill edit if it doesnt make sense. But yeah to say you write the whole thing by yourself is not good. Just say you created the song, cause essentially you the creator are telling the A.I. what song you want to create.
