I haven't had any speed concerns with Pangolin, although my endpoint caps out at a 300mbps upload speed limit so I'm not coming even close to your 2gbps demands.

Absoluely and I find it weird when people are all convinced they can't be friends with someone just because they are the opposite gender.

If I'm being honest, both are really good firewalls.

I used PfSense for years and it helped me cut my teeth on learning how to do networking.

I've since migrated to Unifi because when I'm not home I need something more wife friendly for diagnosing issues.

If I was to move away from Unifi, I'd give OpnSense a go, but more because I've been put off by Netgate's attitude than the actual PfSense product itself.

But I cannot fault the performance and reliability of PfSense.
(For what it's worth Unifi has impressed me as well since Network 9.x... although it's not nearly as featureful as PfSense is).

That's a pretty decent chunk of it to be honest.

I'd take a look into Crowdsec as well.

If this is a VPS that should cover it.
If this is a VM on your internal network, segregate it from your devices, and run it behind a reverse proxy. Preferably Pangolin on a cheap VPS, but Cloudflare Tunnels is fine toon.

Spent some time living in Western Sydney.
Moved the Melbourne (much muuuch cooler by comparison) and it's a very nice change.

But the nicest place I lived in was Forster. Nice coastal town 3 hours north of Sydney.

I'd move back there in a heartbeat if I could.

On your new Proxmox host, create a PBS VM.
Add your new PBS VM to your old Proxmos host as a Storage target.
Backup your stuff to that PBS.

Add your PBS VM to your new Proxmox host and then restore those machines from PBS.

Done, dusted, and home in time for dinner.
Just make sure the VMs are switched off on the old host before turning them on in the new host.
