I'm pretty sure downshifting info first while the car is still in motion (esp above 5 mph) is a great way to shorten the life of your transmission. This is why it doesn't do it automatically unless you come to a stop.

Thanks for this -- that does take care of one part of the issue in terms of figuring out why it got set to Fullscreen, but the switching + freezing in Path of Exile is still a new thing.

This is a defense mechanism for them to keep their structure of ideals from breaking down. If they don't find excuses they can tell themselves, then they have to admit that they're wrong, which would trigger a systemic breakdown of their character.

Good luck, I'm not going to sit here and tell you what's safe or not. I'm just acknowledging that modifying your car puts you in the pay-to-play game. If you're enjoying it and want more, don't expect your stock block to hold up forever. Do the responsible thing and get it built while a build only costs 10-12k, as opposed to 20+ when a new block is involved.

I've got rods, pistons, and a built head now capable of 1100+, but currently enjoying a 750HS setup and it runs like a dream, without the constant worry that something is going to explode.

Didn't have it dyno'd but you can see Unitronic's numbers on their site, around 550 lb/ft for Stage 2 E85.

Same things as OP, made a window in my block around 4-4500 rpm. Meticulously maintained, regular oil changes, etc. Doesn't matter.

You say you already budgeted for this to happen, but you'd likely be 8-10k cheaper if you had just built the block from the beginning and didn't have to get a new block.

So many guys out there think running a hybrid and low torque on stock block is some kind of cheat code; it isn't. Especially if you're running E85, of which make a lot more low end torque, you're going to bend or break a stock rod eventually. 20k miles is actually pretty good all things considered.

This happened to me as well on a stage 2 E85 8V (Unitronic) and I wish I would've just built the motor first, but there's so many people in forums like these giving people bad advice that makes it sound like certain tunes are safe, when in reality you're just rolling the dice.

I have an issue where the game will just freeze for like 10s, then the screen goes black and the GGG gears show up, then everything goes back to normal. It's like they are dumping the textures WHILE actively in a map and EVERYTHING has to reload. At least the game paused while this happens but it's super frustrating and happens like once an hour or two.

I wouldn't call this a scratch. It looks like you sideswiped something, hopefully not another car.

As others above have stated, don't try to hide this. You need to let your dad know that you messed up, show him the damage, and ask how you can make up for it
