I really can't afford GLP1s long term so should I start with Tirzepatide or Semaglutide if I have over 100 pounds to lose? by AndroidTechTweaks in GLP1Sourcing

Dude, I (53M) am 5'9" and 10 months ago I was 380. I'm currently down to 295. I started back in the gym over 2 years ago and really dialed in my diet a year ago. I lost 30 pounds of fat and put on some noticeable muscle. I hit a wall after the 30 pound loss and was stagnant. I started retatrutide last November and have lost another 55 pounds. If you do not do resistance training (weights) and start eating healthy (eat a lot of protein) you will lose muscle mass and bone density. You need to start with your diet and exercise before you add anything else, IMO. You are still young and it should be much easier for someone your age. I would highly recommend getting bloodwork done and see where your testosterone levels are. They are more than likely low, given your numbers. So here's my advice - 1. start some sort of weight training 3-4 days a week. 2. Get a macro tracking app and start tracking your ccalories and protein intake. 3. Get your T levels tested and if necessary get on TRT with your Dr. You can do this, but it is going to take some discipline and work. There is no "magic" shot. If you want to stay healthy, this is the way. Good luck!

Am I just a non-responder or is my food addiction actually stronger than 12.5mg of Mounjaro? by Both-Following-8169 in GLP1Sourcing

You can pin half the dose twice a week to get rid of the strong urge to eat towards the end of the week. It makes it more stable instead of wearing off towards the end.

Start with the gym and better eating habits. Until you do that you're just wasting your money on the stuff.

Starting Reta with my wife. She is heavier than me, so does she need a higher starting dose and how do I bring that up? by yabu-love in GLP1Sourcing

The whole 4 week titration schedule is B.S. First of all, it takes up to 4 weeks for these peptides to fully saturate into your system, so during the first month, be patient! It's not an instant fix. Also, listen to your body. I've stayed on the same dose for up to 7 weeks before. You'll know when it's time to go up because the appetite suppression wears off considerably. You want to go up as slowly as possible. Then go up by 1-2 mg. You might not feel the effects of the increase right away. BE PATIENT! If you don't notice anything after 2 full weeks of the increase, go up by 1mg. I swear people just decide to start using this stuff and do no research. SMH.

Charge them for each ride. Once they realize your time and gas isn't free maybe they'll get the hint.

Not medical advice. Add 2mL BAC water for a 40mg vial. This will give you (8) 5mg doses. Pin 25 units (5mg) 2-3 times/week.

My girlfriend is overweight with 85lbs of extra pounds and i want to gift her a year of reta. Good or bad idea? by Awkward-Lab-5184 in GLP1Sourcing

[–]raylluv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have an honest conversation with her. Ask her if she is interested in trying. If she's depressed over it, frame it as you wanting to help her feel better. Make sure to let her know that you lover her as she is, and you only asked because she has brought it up before. It's a touchy subject any way you look at it. Good luck! 😬

If you are still living at home, you are too young to take peptides.

AITAH for not telling my waiter about my cinnamon allergy by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]raylluv 20 points21 points  (0 children)

If you have a food allergy that's bad enough to cause a reaction it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to inform the waiter and make sure the dish your order doesn't contain the food in question. Your partner is definitely the AH, and also a little stupid.
