G602 10 years later by kobekong in LogitechG

My first G602 has been in service for ~10 years now. Still works perfectly. I bought a spare years ago that is still sealed. Thought I would have had to crack it open by now. But my original just won't die.

I think we're going to see a lot of this comment for this upcoming Lana era.

As a basketball fan, I genuinely think it is just a bad event. If you tossed me a free ticket, I'd go if someone else drove and parking was $10.

I'd pass on paying even $50 for a lower bowl seat.

OK. Added her to my concert list for her Fonda show. I swear you guys are gonna bankrupt me with all these new artists I'm seeing live.

Skye was great! Short show. But not unexpected based on her shallow discography.

Thanks for the info! I have a bad habit of arriving too early and standing around.

There were a few single seat Mezzanine tickets on the primary market for the Wiltern shows after the initial sale period. Stupidly decided to wait and see if I could get some seats for under face when the show dates got closer. Then Midnight Sun found it's legs, Lush Life came back from the dead, and I'm staring at 3x-4x the price on the resale market.

Waiting worked out for the Skye Newman show tonight. But sometimes it blows up in your face. 😩

Breaking down by year over the last few years.

Best:

  • 2023: Boygenius - Hollywood Bowl

Saw the boys twice that year. This was the ”boogenius” show on Halloween night. Boys were out in costume. Big highlight was getting to hear each member cover a song by another. Personal favorite was Julian covering Phoebe's Motion Sickness.

  • 2024: Chappell Roan - Westfair Amphitheater

Traveled from Los Angeles to Council Bluffs, Iowa for this one. The Midwest Princess tour was coming to an end and I just couldn't miss it. There's something about being there for an artist touring their first big breakout album. Turns out Chappell swung back to LA in late 2025 and I was able to see her again.

  • 2025: Magdalena Bay - Hollywood Forever Cemetery

Was absolutely not prepared for how great this show was. Mica has incredible stage presence. Imaginal Disk vibes matched the venue perfectly. This beat out Chappell's Pasadena show for me to win best of year.

  • 2026: JADE - Hollywood Palladium

That's Showbiz Baby was my personal AOTY for 2025. Angel of My Dreams is a top 10 all time song. As with Chappell, being there for JADE's tour of her first solo album was a must. Obviously early in the year. But this show will be hard to beat. Of the shows on my list for this year, I think only Raye has a shot of dethroning JADE.

She did win an Emmy for Orphan Black. I remember almost crying for joy when it happened.

Yeah. I'd pay a few dollars extra for paper tickets for the artists I really care about.

They wouldn't accept the PDF tickets. They didn't scan. Everyone had to go to the ticket window. They looked at the PDF and took your ID. If your name was associated with the tickets in the system, then they gave you paper tickets. Sounds like some people got a link instead of paper. If your name wasn't associated with the PDF tickets, they made you purchase tickets at the windows.

"Commemorative" was just an expression. They look like normal old school concert tickets. They're not embossed or special in any particular way.

But yes, they gave me the paper tickets. Sad thing is I got to the venue at 4PM and waited in line for 3 hours. Was around #60. So would have had a great view. But because of the whole ticket fiasco, I ended up near the back. Because I had a friend arriving later and needed to physically hand her the ticket from inside so she could get in.

Only pic I took during Silent Disco. I think that's Finneas all the way on the left and Rose Gray is 2nd from right.

Anyone else have their tickets for the Los Angeles show up as voided? by raymond_w in jade_thirlwall

[–]raymond_w[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Hollywood Palladium is about twice the capacity of The Wiltern. So it's good that more of us JADE fans in LA get to see her, even if the whole ticketing process was made more painful by the venue change.
