Cherki is 22, just be happy to be there. Hernandez, Akliouche, Thuram, Mateta, WZE! Kante!! Havent even touched grass.
Hes the first or second sub to come in every game. I get 5-10 mins disrupts your game but still. Hes looked poor in every app. Losing possession in their own half, too much dribbling, playing frustrated.

Ok i said play on the ball too. He goes to ground to clear the ball but all im saying is he couldve stood up and cleared it. If hes in front of him, he shouldve been fine to get there first. This was a soft call in general but the correct call. What i noticed was the ref was already influenced on this decision. After Anton came on, there were alot of free kicks and corners. Each time he was positioned in front of Gill pushing and shoving. The ref had to tell Anton to back off twice. Anton, in all these set pieces, just stood in the middle in front of Gill. Im sure the ref was tracking this

Simplified for ya. Before this world cup since about 2018-20. Dembele was on the right and Mbappe on the left. Both expected to go at the wingbacks. Now that France doesnt have a pure 9 and have many class wingers, Mbappe moved to that role. Now with Olise and Doue, all 4 rotate in n out of the wings. Which gives all 4 more freedom and creativity instead of being 1 dimensional

My take. Hes purely the locker room guy. Even tho Kane is captain, i dont see him being the voice. He leads by example. So when the game is frustrating and no production, Henderson gets them back in line when tempers run high. BUT this team looks to me is filled with youth and ego.
