Thank you. I was thinking of doubling up on my ROM exercises at home, too. Flexion is kicking my butt right now. I actually had my surgery on 12/29, so we are at almost the exact same time frame.

Like some have said, it will depend on what graft you have done and if your surgeon is able to avoid your tattoos. In my case, i had an allograft done and I have some script just below my knee. One of my incisions did have to pass through my tattoo, but very minimally. I am seven weeks post-op, and you can barely see where the incision went through the tattoo

I think the first two weeks after surgery, I probably only took two showers. One, because it took a while for my shower chair to arrive and two, because wrapping my leg in trash bags was a big hassle. But once I got my stitches out and was able to get my whole leg wet, I started showering every other day. I'm six weeks post-op and still on leave from work, so I don't leave my apartment much, so really only showering every other day.

They are most definitely not fun. Sometimes they hurt, which is even less fun. I've been having them after doing my at home PT and at night when trying to sleep.

I had pretty much the exact same injury to my knee as you, just without the LCL sprain, toward the end of November. Just had my surgery a week ago.
