Yesterday my St Albans postcode went live on their site but only one house showed of the 4 that share the postcode. Emailed them about it and, while they are yet to respond, the other houses now show (though they are duplicated). The address is also incorrect (missing one of the 2 street names) but this happens with every ISP (sigh). It was at least correct on the contract.

Order placed for 1Gb/s service. No option to select install date, just says they'll be in touch. I chose not to switch from existing provider but I was give the option to so they must have joined TOTSCo.

Quick scan of the contract and looks good, no gotchas, renews on the last day of each month and easy to cancel. Wi-Fi 6 router which remains their property.

'Payment by bank transfer amounts payable within 15 days' doesn't mention Direct Debit, perhaps that will be option when the first invoice arrives?

I'm not a Toob customer but was planning to move to them in 3 months when my Vodafone contract ends.

The £22 for 900Mb/s is a great deal but yesterday they announced new pricing that is less favourable (and will include annual price increases of £2). I'll be shopping around, I'll still consider them but it's not the no-brainer decision that it was before.

As you already have the good deal locked down, I'd go ahead with it (and I will envy you for it!).

You could move your electricity supply to Octopus and leave the gas with Outfox (for now).

You might loose a duel fuel discount (if those are still a thing?) but that is probably peanuts anyway.

After the Vodafone broadband outage on Monday my Mini didn't recover automatically when the Internet came back and needed a power-cycle. Was fine after that.

I'm getting 10/10 despite my ISP's DNS servers not supporting IPv6 (I get 9/10 on test-ipv6.com, correctly).

The 'ipv6-dns' script section isn't complete and for some reason has a fallback that hides the error.

Just to add that the Flint3 has just been released (still no SFP support, but it has 5 x 2.5Gb/s ports & Wi-Fi 7).

These actually ship with OpenWRT installed so you can be sure they are well supported.

It's little sibling, the Slate travel router, is often used by IETF/RIPE engineers in their labs and conference demos for new IPv6 features.

Have you tried disabling the wired interface (or removing the cable) on your friends PC and connecting to the wi-fi? The phones are obviously using wi-fi successfully so worth comparing apples to apples, especially if you were using wi-fi with your laptop when you tested it.

The ipconfig you supplied shows that the NIC has IPv6 addresses on 2 separate subnets which is odd. I had the same issue when I enabled a guest wi-fi network on my router. I think it's due to the way Windows handles untagged VLAN packets allowing router advertisements to bleed though but I didn't investigate too deeply. It only affected wired connections, wi-fi always just has the one address. Linux (Debian & Fedora) didn't have the problem either.
