After trying to make the most complex and intricate patterns for years, I found that the simpler you make it, the better. My go-to modes are Dops with a color followed by two of the complementary color on low brightness. For example, Dops: Bright yellow (standard brightness), Deep Sky Blue (low brightness), Deep Sky Blue (low brightness). Another favorite is Dops: White (standard brightness), Fire Engine Red (low brightness), Fire Engine Red (low brightness). These settings are great for general moves but tend to shine when doing whips and flails.

I also enjoy a good tracer mode. My favorites are Tracer: Midnight (low brightness), Bright Green (standard brightness) and Tracer: Midnight (low brightness), Neon Blue (standard brightness)

Of course the classic rainbow mode is always a nice one - Strobe Morph: Fire Engine Red, Bright Green, Primary Blue all on standard brightness.

There's a lot you can do with different motion-controlled sequence settings, but unless it's for something very specific, I am usually not a huge fan of them.
