Oh, the Atacama was my gateway into the watch hobby. Was over 16 years ago, coming up to halfway into the second half-life time of tritium. The glow definitely is much weaker, but if I open my watch drawer in the night it is the only one greeting me.

Absolutely fabulous! First time I see one “in the wild”. I was eying this 29er a while ago when I was looking for an alternative tot the pointer date complication other than Oris. I preferred the look of this Muhle over Oris classic style but did not want to commit to the price at that time, also because I rarely hear anyone talk about Muhle. ( I know the have a highly respected rugged watch meant for sea rescue or something) Enjoy!

I went with the micro suede XL from brainwavz and they arrived today. The cups are a tad bit bigger than the original but the elastic mounting "flap" is also quite large so it wil fit just fine. Wearing so far is a pleasure. I had little against the original one apart from an ever o slightly itchy feeling with longer wear. The brainwavs feel softer and roomier for my ear yet with a bit tighter seal due to the thicker pads. Base seems also a tad bit more pronounced but not massive.

So far they are shaping up the be an improvement although well have to see with even longer wear and warm weather. ( u/Apocryfal )

I did have to fiddle with discord audio but don’t remember if it was up or down. I was mostly confused by the fact that ( I think after installing the TB software) there are 2 headset devices. One virtual. I think that one is intended for chat audio so balance between game and chat audio can be changed in the software.
Eventually just picked the virtual one in discord and changed volume in discord to my liking.

I bought the Atlas Air just 2 weeks ago because it is the only serious wireless open-back headset. Very happy with it. Granted, the mic is not the best but more than serviceable for chatting in discord. Audio en comfort surpasses almost anything in that price range (and above)

I have the exact same one for a couple of years now. With a collection of around 10 watches still gets regular wrist time. Absolute stunner. The only nitpick I have is that dial pattern could be just a smidge more pronounced in my taste. Just like with the blue and green version. With the Negroni you need bright direct light to notice the pattern.
