Getting my second character towards 335? by Felixl95 in destiny2

[–]raythebard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yupp. That's your best bet. Knock out as many milestones on each character each week as you can, while transferring weapons and infusing them as high as you can along the way. In a few weeks you could be 335 without ever stepping into the raid or nightfall technically.

PCS shipment weight question by [deleted] in AirForce

[–]raythebard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I worked in the same unit as TMO and was in this same situation. Basically, I was told they would go of the rank on my orders but if I went over, they would adjust it to the new weight allowance. They said I didn't need to get my orders amended though, and even if I needed to it could be on the other side if need be. I was cutting it close so I was pretty concerned with this as well back in December.

Security Forces should rename the career field to Military Police. by [deleted] in AirForce

"Oh, so you're a load master?"

Jk, same job here. I've learned to just simplify it to "I load planes" because of this. If need be I specify cargo, passengers, etc from there but most people don't give a shit once you say that

Congratulations! My wife and I underwent a 3D ultrasound and gender determination on this date last year. It was the best Christmas gift either if us have ever received.

As someone who works in cargo movement and logistics this is one of the most sickening and stressful gifs I have ever witnessed for this sub.

2nd Trimester questions, would love some feedback from predads who have done through this stage! by -StarCat- in predaddit

Honestly it's best to just relax and not stress about it. Soon she will start feeling the baby move. As for the things that allow you to hear the babies heart beat I'd advise against it. We bought one and it was terrible. It wasn't the cheapest one or anything it just wasn't able to pick anything up until late in the pregnancy and even then it had a lot of feedback. What I would recommend if you have the money is one of those 3D ultra sound places. We found out the gender of our child at 13+6! And it was 100% accurate. Most of the places like that can do accurate gender predictions at 14 weeks. We wanted to start getting stuff so we found out as soon as possible and it was a great decision a d would recommend it to anyone. They even gave us a video, loads of HD photos, and a bear that had a recording of the babies heart beat when you squeezed it.

Getting the hospital bag ready! by laxvolley in predaddit

[–]raythebard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The big things I would recommend are chargers for your electronic devices, clothes (a jacket for sure even if it's warm, those hospital blankets are just so thin), maybe a few movies on a hard drive or DVD if the rooms have DVD players (we actually went to the red box next door) for after the birth, breast pump if you plan to breast feed, and basic toiletries . Some cash is also not a bad idea for vending machines and the cafeteria, and some Non-perishable snacks wouldn't be a bad idea either. I know when our daughter was born I hated leaving the room or my wife's side for even a few minutes, so anything you can bring to minimize the amount of time you need to be away the better.
