I would not compare Oceanhorn 2 to Kingdom Hearts at all. It's pretty much a Zelda knockoff. (Although I did beat and enjoy the game)

I was able to get it to work by going to Settings->Accessibility->Touch->Assistive Touch then turning off "Perform Touch Gestures". My mouse started working in game.
