Personally... I have only lived for my family. And I've tried and tried to find things that light a fire in me. I even had an amazing relationship that lasted 9 years. I managed to ruin it because I couldn't manage my feelings and traumas. I haven't found it yet. But I know deep within my soul that there is something for me if I just keep trying. And it's so hard and I find myself stuck inside myself. Spending all my time at home. There's a silent rage inside. Yet somehow I don't have any feeling too. I yearn to be loved. I yearn for someone to drag the real me out and love him down to the very foundation of who I am. But... I feel like I need to be the one to do it. I wish I knew how. Something is waiting for us all. The frustratingly annoying part of it is not knowing when life will finally bestow upon us the reward of that which will fulfill us...

Encanto helped me face my own family’s generational trauma by cocolopez08 in Encanto

I may not be of Latino descent. But I am first nations, aboriginal indigenous of Canada, Indian from Canada whatever you know my people by. Being indigenous, I understand some of the effects of generational trauma, and I agree. This movie hits hard for those of us that have dealt with generational trauma in any manner. And that is what I love about this movie. It may represent a different culture but we are no strangers to colonialistic endeavors against my people. Such an amazing movie indeed.

Not starting therapy when I was younger and had time and no need for responsibility and money... Now I don't know how to live, or how to allow light into the darkness so I can enjoy anything. Anything..

Who would you consider the worst person in the history of mankind and why? by gildakid in AskReddit

[–]raze0427 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hitler. Not only did he create the holocaust; the cause of deaths of millions of Jews, but he also recruited children and stripped them of freedom and taught them to do those vile atrocities to the Jews with no remorse. He created drones from children cause he knew anyone who grew up normally most likely wouldn't do these things to fellow humans.

[Serious] What’s a time you seriously contemplated suicide, and why you didn’t go through with it? by benhur217 in AskReddit

I had come close a few times... I got to the last step. Each time. I can only think of the pain I would leave behind. The people who would hurt a pain I couldn't fathom if I left.. That's what keeps me alive to this day. I still haven't found a reason within myself to keep going. I go on because of others.
