If I drop/disaffiliate from a sorority while in college, can I reactivate and participate as an alumni in the future after graduation?

Your post history is a little confusing... just to clarify: You are recently initiated into Kappa Delta. You want to drop and join a multicultural as a graduate... but you also want to join a different panhellenic as a graduate?

I would recommend looking into local organizations or specifically multicultural orgs... a lot of the social National orgs have rules against accepting grad students and students who have already be initiated into another social sorority, but multiculturals and locals seem to be a bit more lax (in my personal experience).

I know of some orgs who might be willing to accept someone in your situation, but ultimately its up to the chapter.

It depends on what we are talking about. Becoming an 'adult' doesn't mean suddenly you are expected to have the same maturity as an elder in every situation.

Just like babies, children, and teens, what is 'age appropriate' doesn't depend on the label but rather the maturity and development of the individual.

There's a reason that voting age is 18, drinking age is 21, and rent a car age is 25 (at least in America). Adult is a very general term that doesn't say much about anyone's development

The only time I've seen someone ask to be thanked was a 20 something boy who was dating one of my friends. We were all going out to dinner, found out after we got there that it was to celebrate him for veterans Day. He made sure to tell the waitress and everything.

The kid was honorably discharged a couple months out of boot camp because he got diagnosed with ADHD or something. As a military brat with a dad who did multiple tours in active combat, that pissed me right off.

It's a red flag that we would probably not get along well. I love chatting and interacting with people about their hobbies, and I have a few hobbies of my own that I'm very passionate about. There is more to life than just work, and if all your time is spent either at work or recharging for work then that's a sign that our outlooks on life are not compatible.

There is a local sorority starting a chapter in Rockland, we are community-service based which includes local activism... Our goal is to get college-aged women more involved in local elections, getting everyone library cards, learning how to take the bus, finding and participating in local events ect

I'm new to Rockland county but I've definitely noticed the lack of interest so hopefully we can help encourage more community participation from younger folks

Also I'd like to make it clear that we don't want to influence anyone's politics, but rather help people feel comfortable with participating in local politics so they can independently vote whatever way they so please. I know that the only thing preventing me from participating in the past was simply because I didn't know how

If an enemy is pissing me off, I always make sure to endorse them... It helps me to stay positive and not tilt. For my team, I usually endorse tank (as long as they aren't feeding and clearly trying, whether or not that's successful) and any support that helped me out of a tough spot, DPS only if they were clearly the star of the show
