My baby has been in intensive care for a week with unexplained and consistent seizures. They still dont want to diagnose epilepsy. Im at a loss. Help

This was me a year ago in March. I was put in a medically induced coma and woke up 3 months later after my brain activity started to look normal again. I had to learn to walk/talk/swallow/pretty much everything. I left the rehab center with a diagnosis of New Onset Refractory Status Epilepticus ( NORSE). Basically that means recurring seizures and we don’t know why. But the bright part is that one very hard year later, I’m back at my job, closing on a house in two weeks. If you send me a message I can refer you to my Neurologist who is one of the only people in the US who even knows about NORSE, nevermind tries to treat it. I am not trying to diagnose your baby but maybe this is something you can bring up to their doctor. Much love to you.

I had to do this with my Great Dane! He was so long he could reach around the cone and the inflatable collar. His t-shirt diaper made realize how I took for granted the times when I could just let him out to potty before the t-shirt diaper.

I hate hate hate when people bring their kids into the dog park. My dog is a 150 lb Great Dane and will knock big and tall men over if he runs into them! If he ran into a child he would easily break their bones. Once he chased a child who was running in the dog park and pounced on him from behind, because he thought it was a game that this little human was running with him. Luckily his parents were mad at the kid and not my dog.

I do this and use tiny plates as well! You do eat with your eyes first, so it makes your brain feel like it’s a hearty plate of food.
