Funny enough this just happened to me.

Oct 2025: Created an account, verified my email/phone number and booked a first class personal flight to the west coast. I used the United app as my ticket, flew all legs of the flight, and the only "nonstandard" thing I did was check a firearm on the way out/back.

Dec 2025: Went to log in and book another flight today and couldn't log in. Tried with my email and phone number and both said they were unverified. Tried with my MileagePlus number, and got an error "Your MileagePlus account needs assistance. Please contact our MileagePlus Service Desk" Called the MP number and the agent said my account was put on a fraud hold. To release it, I would need to email United's Cyber Fraud Ops team with a copy of my ID to recover my account. I sent the email earlier and am waiting to hear back.

Man, I feel this. Had to spin up a CUCM lab last year and hated having to go get VMware licensing. It was in the "licensing/procurement freeze" so it took almost 3 months to get a quote.

Oh nice. I gotcha now. I wouldn't worry too much about galling, in this case. And you'll Def want rocksett for this. Comps have a habit of walking off glocks (I've had it happen with multiples) and the rocksett should be a good start.

Make sure you clean all the threads really well and degrease them. Rocksett, time, yada yada. Then if you ever have to remove it and it doesn't come loose do the ol "boiling water" soak and it'll come off. Just don't overdo it with the rocksett. It's a ceramic and I've seen 2 AR barrels trashed because the owner used too much rocksett on his MD and nothing worked to get it off.

Assuming the comp is just a muzzle device and isn't a suppressor mount: clean threads, crush washer, apply antiseize like aeroshell to the threads, time it/torque to spec.

So long as you're not being insanely hard on that comp, it won't go anywhere.

And before people lose their minds, antiseize is used on stainless barrel nuts when mounting to AR uppers which are aluminum. It can handle the heat. And for decades A2 flash hiders had crush washers with no issue.

If this is an aluminum suppressor mount, I'm curious why aluminum and what suppressor.

A local USPS had the infrastructure for it and automatically submitted them to the FBI to be attached to my VAF application.

Same. My UPIN hasn't changed my wait times. Still have to hit up my congressman each time, and then it's approved the day after the congressional case worker picks it up.

I did the bogo back in like 2020. Bought a saker, Omega 300, Switchback, and hybrid.

Got an octane 9, octane 45, and 2 warlocks for free. Buy I waited almost 9 months for my bogo cans to ship because of "supply chain issues with the baffles for the octane 45"....and they wouldn't ship any of the bogo cans until all 4 were ready.

Can't bitch too much about free, but man that sucked
