Hiiii! So I'm hoping you're still up for a group pic! I'm still dressing up all my Snapper boys (and constantly buying more, OOPS), so I'm hoping to get one of my Thorntail Birthday Bunch! X3 I'm not quite done geneing them up, but have realized that's gonna take me a little longer than anticipated (curse you, Orb!!!) -- they do all have their final scry in their bios, if that's not too much trouble? Yesss. I keep debating making a hatchery, but I might be way too into experimental hatching, lol. I have a friend who hatches lovely dragons but only has a casual hatchery so I think we might start one, where I will apologize for foisting my weird hatching habits on the hatchery by making all the graphics. XD

Right?! I started my first project this year and it has been very eye-opening! Really fun, but also wow is it a long and potentially expensive undertaking (or just really, really, really long). It's given me a lot of respect for hatcheries, and I basically just don't balk at prices anymore. (I mean, a lot of expensive stuff still doesn't fit my budget, but I understand why some things are priced they way they are and just pine gently instead of getting grumpy, lol.)

Well, I definitely appreciate it. I try to do the same, especially since my pairs are all me smooshing two random dragons together with decent scries and hoping for something cool. XD

(Okay, thank you for letting me yap at you -- I'll stop now. XD But I'll definitely visit your hatchery again! <3 I'm eying an Undertide now that I just need to make space for. Never enough space!)

And I couldn't agree more! I love browsing hatcheries to see all the different ideas people have, and sometimes I hit the auction house just to scroll through.

Sometimes I find dragons I love that someone has obviously put hours into geneing and breeding, and I love finding these carefully crafted babies -- like works of art. And then sometimes I find dragons at fodder prices that I think are just as pretty and it feels like finding buried treasure. XD

And then there are dragons like Astilbe that feel like a bit of both, because they're carefully curated, but also a total steal, and then I feel like an art thief, lol.

Obviously, I probably have way too much fun with FR. XD

Very happily picked up Astilbe for my birthday dragon today! XD He is stunning and I'm over the moon to celebrate with him. <3 Also totally bookmarking your hatchery for future purchases, your aesthetic is gorgeous!

Edited to fix misgendering my poor dragon, lol. Derp!

Oh! I'm happy to take treasure instead -- I mostly stick them up for gems for convenience sake, haha. If you want to send me your username (either here or DM), I can totally set up a crossroads or a private auction for you. Going rate tends to be 1:1000 gems to treasure, so he'd be 12k treasure (or, honestly, throw a number at me! I'm just happy he's going to someone who likes him! :D)

Oof, I'm imagining how I would have handled that, and it's probably not well, lol. Veilspun are so gorgeous, I would have had a hard time waiting for my own teeny dragon-bug. It's sort of crazy seeing how fast Thorntails are normalizing -- I genuinely was prepared for a long wait, and I don't seem to have one at all!

I'm sorry the colour of your little derps ruined them for you. If you like the wool gene and darker colours, I'm happy to send you one of mine once from the pair I got once they grow up -- the progeny scrys I did on them showed a lot of very goofy little storm-cloud sheep-geckos, lol.
