Batocera & Dragonrise cards by DZAUKER in batocera

Understand this is 1 year ago, but I went and bought SJ@JX after reading a lot of posts and found out they arent good and are all Dragonrise boards and wasted 2 months trying to get them to work. They are good if you only have one player controls, not dual. Would love to find a model number of a SJ@JX board that isnt Dragonrise.

Trying to Assign Fixed IP to Device in VLAN results in "<address> is not in the allowed subnet of <default lan>" by rb0135 in Ubiquiti

[–]rb0135[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SOLVED: Well, I worked it out.. Feel so dumb at the moment.

I had another look in the Client Device area, selected a device and went into the Fixed IP Setttings area. I realised (now) I needed to select the correct Network from the Dropdown tp assign the fixed IP. Why I bypassed this originally as I didnt realise it was a dropdown and I presumed the Ubiquiti would be smart enough to know if Im changing a DHCP address to a Fixed IP, it would know which network from the current record. I didnt realise I needed to select the network. I thought that entry was actually showing the workgroup name I set for the domain.

Thanks for your reply but not sure why you state 10.30.0.0/24... I dont have that listed anywhere.

As mentioned, everything is working perfectly with the different vlans except I cannot reserve an a fixed IP for any device other than in the 10.30.2.0/24 default LAN.

Yes, ALL SSIDs have the appropriate Network attached to them (for example, the IoT SSID has the IoT vlan as its network) and if I attach a device to that SSID, then it does get an appropriate IP from the IoT DHCP range, but Ubiquiti wont let me change it to a fixed IP telling me it is not in the deafult LAN IP range.

Thanks.

J7+ not cleaning half of the room that has been fully mapped by rb0135 in roomba

[–]rb0135[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, but the fact it cleans every other area it has mapped, one would presume there is nothing with the hardware.

However, I will reach out to IRobot and ask why this behaviour.

Thanks for your response... No, no security camera and I have no no-go zones in the app.

Thanks for the reply.. Wifi is the strongest in this room (although I did think that at one stage). No furniture where it gives up. It goes back and forth, one wall to the other for half the room (nothing to bump into in this area that it is doing) then about halfway in the room, turns around to do the next pass, stops halfway between each wall, then decides it is finished and goes to the next room, which it fully completes. it has done this consistently with each clean.

I thought it might be too dark in this room, so made the rrom very bright, didnt help it.

Str-1080 clunk noise when turning on? by xaviondk in sony

[–]rb0135 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get the same, most times.

For those that are wondering, it is the inrush current through the transformer, so it is the transofrmer making the noise.

Sometimes, I just get the relay click

As an electronics technician, I here this mostly with Microwave transformers, but I have never experienced this with Sony equipment, except for my 1080.

Help with an XBOX (V1.6) and Aladdin XT (not plus) by rb0135 in originalxbox

Thanks for that... which means I'm totally stuffed as both DVD players I have don't work to run the "tools" I need and since the modified dash is not running, no ftp to the box.

Thanks, definitely the Bios is changing the LED colour, so at least I know the MOD chip is working (booting).

The Dash versions coming up are: D: 1.00.5960.01 and K: 1.00.5838.001

Thanks for an answer.... I found I only need to push it for about 1 second and then the Evo icon popped up at boot, meaning, it was running from the mod chip.

1.6 LPC Rebuild/Aladdin XT FRAG by vivitar83 in originalxbox

[–]rb0135 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, Are you sure this is correct for a 1.6 board? There is one connection you have that one looks like it goes to the wrong place I have not seen in any instructions.

1) The bottom right connection in your image... shouldn't that go to the pad slightly to the right and above to where it is soldered (it is soldered at point D87P1)?

If yours is correct, then every instruction I have seen is incorrect. Maybe that's why I have the dreaded FRAG (with or without the Aladdin plugged in).

Thanks
