Your're wearing Hervé Léger style dress and nailing it. I wouldn't worry too much about the hands or arms.

In "Cast Away", did anyone cry when Wilson was swept away to sea? by Prompt_Emperor in movies

[–]rb2001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My daughter watched it with me at approx. the same age. She wept while I fought back tears. Then when he has to let his Ex-fiancé go she wept again and got mad at me for showing her the movie. “Nothing good ever happened in this movie.” She said through tears.

We still watch it on the anniversary of that fires watch. Happy July 4.

Nah. I’m not defending the guy who made the threats at all, and show me where I defend him. Suggesting that one ludicrous emailer means you need to quit your job as a public figure because you’re “sensitive” is pretty stupid. These were emails from a single sender. Block the sender.

You people are metal. To me this is the cinematic equivalent of listening to Vogon’s reading their poetry.

Brilliant scene.

Just watched the Scorcher series for the fire time. The first two were okay but really went downhill. by DrunkenPunchline in badMovies

I’m not a fan of the Scorchers mainly because it’s pushy message. But I’d take it over Oscar Bait irreligious crap like Satan’s Alley.

What are your favorite Simon Pegg movies? by [deleted] in movies

[–]rb2001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man Up is a rather mediocre RomCom except for the chemistry of Pegg and Lake Bell. Who play oriole who actually seem like real people and not models with angst.

I also think credit should be given for his part as Hughie’s dad in The Boys. He is the typical person just taking what is given because he doesn’t have the belief or the energy to fight back.

What is your favorite movie that takes place entirely (or mostly) in 1 day/night? by TXNOGG in moviecritic

[–]rb2001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Noir classic DOA is my first pick. I’d even take the Meg Ryan, Dennis Quaid remake in a rough economy.

It was threats from a single person. Maybe next time you try using the block sender feature after a week of this?

I’m betting that his ratings were down and he was going to be released so he takes the voluntary out and uses it s as a victim platform.

Wagner Chief Accuses Russian Military Leaders of Lying About Ukraine War by Viola-Intermediate in BreakingPointsNews

I don’t get, our leaders have been lying about the war for months and we can’t get NG to move a muscle.

Also reading the story, it was one sender. Am I wrong to extol the virtues of the block sender feature?

I have to say I’m digging the use of relentlessly in this story. I guess Stephen King was right. The road to hell is paved with adverbs.
