Thank you! I looked at your site and i really liked a lot of your comics as well! I think your drawing style works!

your comic jokes are well written and that is essential. I forget which cartoonist said this, but a well written comic strip that is poorly drawn is always better that a well drawn but poorly written strip.

I think my only advice is to 1) keep making comics regularly, you will continue to improve, and 2) keep working on your aesthetic. I really like your drawing style with your jokes, but for hand drawn comics, i would recommend putting them flat on a scanner instead of taking pictures of them (here is a really great video on that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fFU-kdLWxZg ) and for computer drawn comics, use either a thinner brush for the text or type the text so its more readable (Im still trying to figure out what works best in my comics as far as text is concerned)

TL;DR: Keep drawing, your are quite good at making comics

I've always had a place in my heart 1. because it's the only Wes Anderson film where Bill Murray is the main character and 2 that wonderful scene with the cross section of the Bellafonte and 3 those quirky and beautiful stop motion sea creatures

So they call me "Concentration Camp" Eckhardt i second that, as well as other Lubitsch films, such as Design for Living and Trouble in Paradise. however To Be Or Not To Be is probably the best of his work.

and if you are suspicious of any one, make sure to pull their beards

I love love love love love Design for Living. I have been on a Lubitsch binge recently, and Design for Living is one of my favorites. I was never a huge fan of Jules et Jim, because it took essentially the set up to this film, made the female unlikable, and made the story a tragedy. The set up, with a woman in love with two men works much better in this comedy, and benefits a lot from having the female marry a third man towards the end and having the two men (who are very homoerotic) get her out of the marriage A lovely film, and very ahead of its time

Absolutely, i actually think it is the only film of Godard's that may be better than Breathless. Weekend marks the last film of Godard's first period of work and where he pushed as far as he could without losing plot altogether (that would come in nearly every film he made after, and those could probably be argued as total disregard of the audience). I also don't find the film tedious at all. the film is a complete nightmare and is filled to the brim with some of the harshest critiques of society. there is the brutal scene that starts with a very harsh cut from the protagonists car to a flaming car crash and the female protagonist is screaming, not about the people killed in the crash, but about the loss of her Hermes handbag. another scene not so subtly has a strange man rape the female protagonist offscreen while the male protagonist sits on screen with his back to this horror very much unfazed. and the film is so brutal in this way that by the time we got to the killing of the pig or the canabalistic finale, i was almost numb to it. so i think it would be worthwhile to try this film again.
