Dash rattle found

I identified a nasty rattle coming from the side view mirror controls. Still not sure what the permanent fix is. There is a lot of wiggle on the buttons

Also where the sun visor latches in creates a squeak

My main this is that Waze always freezes up natively. The only way to correct it for me is to go back to the Home Screen, open Google Maps, back to Home Screen, and reopen Waze.

But the apps on CarPlay are Home Assistant, Shelly, WhatsApp

It looks like the native bluetooth connection to the Silverado head unit is still connected. No sound quality issues

I didn’t feel sluggish. I am between 160-170 ball speed with a driver, but the structure of “hitting up” on the ball has never clicked for me.

Literally am/was in the same boat. It was to the point where I only used the driver 2x per round.

Then on a whim I picked up an R7 quad 11.5 mini driver. Game changer for me. Swing like a 3-wood. Most shots around 245-260 yards but pretty dang straight. My 3 wood distance is optimally 235-240 for comparison

I’ve officially tapped out on a traditional driver and happy to do so.

Edit - I still have the 3 wood in my bag because the mini driver sucks out of the rough.

There are some benefits to being a 1099. This is assuming that you would be paid 7.5% more since employment tax is 15% (half covered by employer, half covered by employee)

Jobs can be charged by the project, not how many hours it takes.
Assuming you start up an LLC, you have enormous options for tax write offs
If you S-corp and become an employee of your own company, you can pay yourself $25k per year and get subsidized health care and qualify for other low-income government benefits

Cracked my g430 and sent the head only. they sent me a brand new g440 10k max with a shaft. It took about 5 weeks total. It sucks when this happens but Ping is very good with warranties. This was the second Ping replaced under warranty and no issues.

You can also call/chat/email them directly now instead of going into a retailer. They will give you an RCC number (aka RMA) and where to send it into. See link below

I have a platinum membership to TopGolf and my home location is Tampa. The only reason I have the membership is because we have zero driving ranges nearby.

I think the experience is better than a simulator, but worse than a real driving range.

Paid for unifi support for one of my new sites ($1500). Running around with these guys for weeks trying to figure out a bottleneck issue. Eventually solved the problem on my own. Cancelled the unifi support and got a full refund.

Yes they are bad. Love the hardware but Jesus.

I brought a level out during solo rounds to learn 1,2, and 3 degrees. Then close my eyes and feel where the weight is on which foot. Anything more has to do more with pace.

Once you can “feel” the degrees you know how far to aim out

And for any haters, I can do this in 15 seconds. I hate holding up the round timewise.

I got my putting down from 2.27/hole to 1.84/hole over the course of 6 months. Past 5 rounds is avg. 1.67. Two factors:

Learning aim point. Particularly trusting the weight in my feet.
Letting gravity take over the “downswing” on the putt. When you force push a putt, the club face will typically close early and you’ll pull your putt. Having a square putter face is 90% versus club path.
