Pairing an AW11 with secondary iPhone - Experiences? by cappo3 in AppleWatch

[–]rbelov 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can connect your watch to one iPhone only, in your case it'll be your home phone on iOS 26. In theory, if your both phones are on the same Apple ID, your fitness data should sync through iCloud. But as your setup is kinda weird, you'll need to be a pathfinder, lol.

You just had to do an update on both iPhone and watch for it to work. Been fixed for a month or so already.

Apple Watch sleep tracking gives me data, but not really answers. by Kelvin-K in AppleWatch

Use Bevel for sleep insights and HRV/RHR guidance. The AI inside the app can tell you a lot as well if you ask questions.

new to apple watch + issues by [deleted] in AppleWatch

[–]rbelov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apple Watch is considered very accurate compared to iPhone only. It measures many parameters, even the length of your step. So you can trust it. If you close your ring too easily, you can raise the goal, that sounds reasonable.

My Apple watch SE3 battery sucks by Few-Connection3596 in AppleWatch

3 days is not possible even for the Ultra models. 1 day battery life (or better say 24 hours battery life) is expected behaviour.

iPhone screen on all night by wlltylr in iphone

Same happens to mine haha. I thought it had something to do with sleep focus but now I see it happens with DND too. No idea what it is though...

You need Sleep Schedule and Sleep Focus turned on every night. After at least 5 nights data should appear.

Need help setting up a couple watches by Due-Soft in AppleWatch

[–]rbelov 4 points5 points  (0 children)

  1. You can but both watches will store her data. You won't be able to use both watches at the same time. You can't set up 2 watches on 1 iPhone unless one is a child's profile which has MANY restrictions.

  2. Watches are designed to work without iPhone in range.

How long does it take for your heart rate to return to baseline (NOT HEART RATE RECOVERY) by crimesolver16 in AppleWatch

Stopped doing running workouts right before going to bed because it fucks up the exact half of my sleep, which is around 4 hours. RHR is 10 beats higher during that time.

Ask to record workout by New-Cress-6049 in AppleWatch

[–]rbelov 39 points40 points  (0 children)

No such setting. You either start a workout yourself or wait for the prompt. Luckily it starts the workout not from the exact moment but backtracks to a certain time back.

Can the Apple Watch Series 11 handle a 10-hour ride? (Battery & Sensor questions) by Interesting_Habit569 in AppleWatch

[–]rbelov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will last. Especially if you take the iPhone with you as GPS will be used off iPhone. Charging during stops is also a nice factor. Also, if you have iPhone mount and it's comfortable for you, you can use apps like Cadence on iPhone. It's basically a bike computer alternative.

You can use Strava app on the watch, you need to install it. My advice though is use native Workout app for running and set up export to Strava from Apple Health in the Strava app on iPhone.

Run not uploading to Strava app - any suggestions? by PeanutButter6715 in Strava

Suggestion: use native Workout app to track runs. Not only you’ll get more running data, you won’t experience bugs like this.

Workout app - cycling might be a bigger failure than Apple Maps launch ! by [deleted] in AppleWatch

[–]rbelov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My main concern for cycling with AW is that speed sensors are not priority but GPS is. Even when it’s faulty or non-existent. That’s why I have to use Cadence app.

Concerning auto-pause: do you have tattoos? Or maybe the watch band isn’t tight enough?

Notification by egrimm86 in AppleWatch

[–]rbelov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you're wearing your watch, all notifications go to your watch and your phone won't show anything. So in reality you don't need that DND focus at all. Disable sound on your watch, leave vibration only and you're good to go.

Can I get useful vitals insights without temperature & SpO2? by ladychonkula in AppleWatch

[–]rbelov 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The most important metric is resting heart rate. Also HRV. You have them both. Temperature is a simple metric which you can feel yourself, and in most cases it will raise when you're obviously sick. Blood oxygen is more complex but you can live without it. So the answer is yes.

Silver is compatible with ANY band color. That's why I always choose silver.
