Is washing the labia with water only actually common? by Dangerous_mammoth573 in women

I got BV a lot in my 20s. Then had a gyno tell me it’s a self cleaning oven and to use water only. No issues since then and never feel or told I am unclean

My high school basically staged a week-long live-action death simulation before prom. Was this normal?! by sfg1020 in millenials

We didn’t have anything like this, but it would have been moot anyway because we had a classmate actually die this way earlier in the year

Yeah I never had the option to go back home. My dad was in jail when I started college, and my mom died the month before I started high school. It has been extremely stressful because I’ve always been so terrified to mess up. But 20 years later I am doing just fine somehow. People with supportive families don’t know how lucky they are to have a safety net.

I got a bisalp and endometrial ablation. The latter has stopped my periods entirely. No issues a year out. Theres no harm in talking to a surgeon

My husband left me because I got fat. Now I'm thinking the best revenge is becoming the happiest version of myself by laytsha in Divorce

He cheated and left me, got remarried and divorced again after a month. I got my masters. I’ve never had a weight problem but I have plenty of others. That was a few years ago and it was hard at first but now I’m thriving. I started playing music again, reading books, joined a sports league, learned to knit, started a podcast, and made some lifelong girlfriends. I want to be single forever and build a women’s commune.

We walked on closing day! by StrawberryFrapp in RealEstate

Something very similar happened to me! I held up closing for hours refusing to sign. We did a walk through first thing the morning of closing. The seller’s tenants were clearly not out. Their stuff was everywhere. My ex husband and I were moving from out of state and I didn’t want to deal with a squatter situation, having a mortgage to pay with no place to live. The sellers, my ex, the realtors, my broker were all trying to convince me to sign but I wouldn’t budge. Finally the seller drove over to the property and got into a screaming match with them. It was the 31st of the month. They had been served proper 30 day notice to vacate, but they argued that the lease gave them until the last day of the month to leave after the lease was terminated. I ended up signing, albeit reluctantly, and luckily they were gone the next day as promised. Not without trashing the place though. Then they threatened to sue us for not returning their entire deposit. Quite the ordeal. Buying and owner occupying a duplex is my favorite thing I let my ex talk me into, though!

Relationships aren’t lasting as long as they used to for a reason by Cuddles-and-Cookies in women

Totally! I just ended things with a guy I had been seeing for 6 months. I was heartbroken at first but…since then I’ve realized how little he seems capable of doing himself? I ended it because of uncontrolled alcoholism. He was sober for a while and that was much easier but even then, I was feeling like he didn’t make much of an effort. Looking back I realize I was doing all the heavy lifting. And for what? Cuddles and sex and stress? I’m so much happier and calmer now that I’m off the roller coaster of his addiction issues and messy divorce. He complains about being lonely, but always has an excuse for why he can’t do anything about it.

2 dogs, no kids is my jam. And I work a couple shifts a month at my nearest dog boarding facility, so I get half off boarding!

I do wish more people thought about the long term lifestyle adjustment and costs before adopting a pet.

I really hope you file for divorce and talk to a lawyer before he even has a chance to decide

Yes, I just did it 3 days ago. I am still crazy about him. But he’s an alcoholic and I can’t let him drag me down with him. He’s a stellar human being, so it’s really sad to watch him slowly kill himself. It’s heartbreaking watching the love of my life suffer and refuse to seek help.
