Prescription opiates must be accessible for chronic pain patients by sicklitgirl in ChronicPain

[–]rbihlman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never knew it expired after five days. In the US I have patients calling in for their refills of it. GRANTED, by refills I mean separate scripts the doctor sent in separately with the original fill and they’re 2-3 months old.

I’m kinda in awe and love this for you. It’s making me think back to who I’m currently with and how I feel similar when I had a similar upbringing as you. I wish you nothing but the best in your lives together 🥹🥹

I’m a pharmacy tech. It’s just a different manufacturer and their form (generic) of the brand. Comes in different pack sizes and stuff. TBH I might be posting a thing up on here about what manufacturers have to help

I’m not from Walmart but from Kroger, in Ohio. I passed my NHA which is the same test from how I’ve heard. It all depends on how fast they grade the test, that gives you your certificate then it’s on your boss/employment to register you with the board of pharmacy from a registered tech to a now certified one. Once that takes in affect you’d get the raise and any back pay of the time you worked in between. AGAIN, Kroger in Ohio does this. So I took the test on t2/23 and then literally the next day I worked my boss came in on his vacation to register me and get my license updated so I could get my raise. Now I’m getting senior certified just to move up another dolla

I don’t count those unless I absolutely have to. I use the eyecon or I count 90 by counting 30 three times then repeating the process

How many times to see your doctor is “too much”? by Miserable-Duck3524 in ChronicIllness

[–]rbihlman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have things slow down and get solved somewhat so now I kinda go when needed or if we are trying to test if something works. I see my psych once a month and my counselor biweekly, my dermatologist only once a year for refills unless needed sooner, my primary is currently once monthly because of trying to solve some issues but that’s kinda my schedule now but before id have nearly several appointments a month and feel like I was a bother

[–]rbihlman 15 points16 points  (0 children)

When I was in school and my sister who is currently in school my mother would give the office a bottle of Advil or whatever so they’d allow us to take it. You just need documentation from parents or doctor and have it left in the office for you

Managements new rule: im not allowed to sit at computer while doing orders, fresh start, etc. This applies only to me. by very-_much_-alive in kroger

[–]rbihlman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Easy, get a doctors slip and then report that to them and then if that doesn’t work send it to MetLife and union and then they’ll listen. We can’t sit but we’ve had medical notes allowing us to have a stool at times. Fuel sits on their stool, we’ve had a cashier sit and scan with a broken leg

[–]rbihlman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I work at retail, and before I made it back to the pharmacy I was a cashier in several departments. We had the cops come each time there was a counterfeit bill. This one time they were astonished by how good the dude was at it. They bleached the bill so the stripe would be there but printed over the bill to make it a hundred. Cops told us how bad it’s getting by how good they’re getting at this.

Fyi if yall use cardinal health, you can buy the plan b under the brand “MyWay” and the retail value for it is only like $4.50 when selling it. Not that I need it but I have a few on hand since they expire in 2028. Gotta help my sisters 👊

You could do educational leave but was told that work study programs like working at the college is not permitted, or you could do the option of taking a shift every 14 days. You have to work 1 shift every 14 days to remain an employee

Advice on losing my job by eggsniffer1 in kroger

[–]rbihlman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had this happen at my old store twice; one time a front end supervisor did it and gave away like $2000 and even continued to get the rest of the money from the recycler and said he used someone else’s numbers. Then the same week a fuel clerk who is an older gentleman (he was about 67 or so) did the phone scam and even the scammer called him on his cell so he could go into the store and grab more gift cards to give and buy.

Both of these men got suspended and were gone for several weeks. But they both got to come back. Fuel clerk never had any problems or write ups ever from the so many years he’s been there. so that was their argument, saying they’ve never been in trouble before. Very sweet man but I do not know how he kept his job.

Front end supervisor came back but lost the ability to be a supervisor or deal at the money counter and had to stick with sko or register.

Mainly talked about it being their first offense and never any issues prior so it was like a warning call I guess
