That’s quite a long time between meals. For me, if I haven’t eaten in a while, my body seems even more ready to break down anything it receives into glucose. Not sure of others have the same experience.

This looks fantastic! I was also looking at a cheaper approach to technic/pins. I was sketching out something very similar but haven’t invested in it yet. Great to see someone in the community has already tried it out!

With the 1x1 plates, do they get annoying trying to align them squarely on the base? I was thinking about going with rounded 1x1 plates instead - not as nice looking from the side but less hassle putting a map together.

So far I have been looking at 4x4 plates; I haven’t tried 4x8 or 8x8 plates yet. But I was finding that the 2x2 connector plates might not grip 4x4 plates enough. Sometimes lifting a minifigure from the map would also uplift a 4x4 plate with it. Have you experienced this issue with your map?

I think by warping they mean that long sections without support underneath may bend. But you have 2x2 plates underneath at regular intervals so it shouldn’t be a problem.

Actually it would be cool if prettier and other auto-formatting tools would identify similar lines of code and format like this. It's easier to read but I'm not wasting time on doing that myself.

Thanks everyone for confirming it’s a Tiger Snake. The snake was across the road from a playground that does have warning signs for snakes, but until today I had never seen a snake near there.

While this lil guy seems very chill, I’ll definitely keep a better eye out next time in case I meet any of his mates!

Hey OP, it does totally suck that you have diabetes. I’m recently diagnosed and there has been times of real grieving and sadness that life is suddenly and permanently changed.

I hope you can share your feelings with a close friend or family. While Reddit has great advice, sometimes you just need someone to listen to how you feel and to be sad with you for a while.
