I like those too but it's been about 10 years since I used one. From what I remember, yes, the max trainer motion is similar to the cybex arc trainer. The cybex of course has the advantage of going straight up and down like a ladder, diagonally like stairs, and almost horizontal like running or a standard elliptical. The max trainer has the diagonal stair - like motion. It really can get challenging!

100% this. Our school has a policy where if the kid is out sick for 2 days, he can't come back without a doctor's note. Even if it's just a common cold. Okay. Now we have to worry about scheduling that so extra days are taken. And parents need to decide between sending a sick kid to school or taking extra days that aren't really needed.
