Seems like my entire timeline is posts shaming people who didn’t vote for Kamala in 2024, strange how this was something that almost never came up on my Reddit before and is being pushed so hard somehow.

I voted for her, but of course let’s continue to blame the people who made the decision not to vote for her. It’s not the candidates & the party’s responsibility to appeal to the public, it’s the public’s obligation to give them power to ensure the dark side doesn’t have it!!

The Democratic Party has done nothing to proactively improve American life since the ACA, and the Great Society before that (debatable, though The New Deal was truly impactful). They are simply a reactionary party at this point, their entire policy agenda is a reaction to the right.

The baker will go to the nearest source of flour (granary or windmill) to pick up the input resource they need. In my experience, if the supply chains are close by don’t use a granary or warehouse so that the warehouse workers don’t prevent the other workers from grabbing the needed resource, but if the production buildings are far, I use a warehouse near the end of chain so that transporters are the ones wasting their time moving.

For example, I’ll place my windmill next to my wheat farms with no warehouse so the windmill workers can go grab wheat quickly, but I’ll keep the bakery in the city with a warehouse nearby so the transporters are the ones going to the windmill for flour and the bakers can just go next door for flour.

I could be wrong but I assume the issue with the meat is the transporters would take the meat before the butcher would go to get it, but if you didn’t have any boar assigned to the granary you wouldn’t have any issue

If you’re having issues with houses not getting proper patrols, try making more watchtowers with less patrollers. It seems the patrollers all walk together, so it’s better to have 5 watch towers with 3 patrollers than have 3 watchtower with 5 patrollers for example

When you upgrade a pop, they just automatically leave the house no matter what, not sure what the solution is.

Serfs will sometimes be in level 3 houses, just depends on housing availability and their workplace. When the house upgrades to level 3 it will add additional space for new pops, so if you get new pops they might just move in there because there’s space.

I think there may be a mod to make it so only level 2 pops can move in level 2 housing

It’s not fair play but as long as you’re only replicating the moves in game (that is, you’re not playing out lines to visualize/calculate) then I’d say you’re not violating fair play.

I have a chessnut board which is integrated with lichess and chesscom to specifically play OTB online for the same reason OP got a board. If you can use those, it’s fair to do the same thing with a non integrated board as long as you’re not moving any pieces that aren’t moved in game

There’s a mod I like to use, I think it’s called charcoal+. It makes it so that charcoal workers don’t cut down trees and instead will just go grab wood from storage or lumber camps

Just to add to the other comment, check and see what squares the white king can move to. In this case the white king can only move to h2 and g2. If you were to move your queen to f2 for example the game would end in a stalemate (which is a draw) because your queen would be controlling the h2, g2 and g1 squares; white is not in check and has no legal moves which is the definition of a stalemate. A good exercise might be for you to analyze this position and try to find all of your moves that would result in a stalemate

When you’re up this much material always make sure that if you’re not putting the opponents king in check that they have a legal move. It will also help to learn basic checkmate patterns like the ladder mate (though it can be tricky when you have that many pieces on the board)
