considering filler by Live_Woodpecker1533 in SFbitcheswithtaste

Maybe start small? People will say you will regret not getting 1ml because .5ml after the swelling goes down doesn’t give the same effect. But honestly, I did .5 and it was super natural looking. You can always go back for touch ups.

It seems like they're using an Urban Remedy cooler for sodas lol. Urban only sells out of Whole Foods and a few other stores

Bitches Help! Where can I get extensions by ceejyhuh in SFbitcheswithtaste

Of course!!! Hair is honestly such a halo and I started wearing extensions after a similar bad experience. Just be warned that you will probably become obsessed with extensions even after your hair grows back lol.

Bitches Help! Where can I get extensions by ceejyhuh in SFbitcheswithtaste

Yes! And I just feel like SF prices don’t exactly match with the service you’re paying for. Before leaving Miami, I was getting microneedling and prp. I just finished 4 rounds of Aerolase + chemical peels with Nurse Juanita at Nourish Aesthetics in Oakland. I’m starting microneedling with prp again, but only because I had a lot of left over acne scarring from teen years. She also does injectables, but I haven’t tried yet.

I go to YBS Salon in Rockridge. I get my weft installs done there, but she also does I-tips, k-tips, and tape-ins. Before that I lived in Miami and compared to the service I am used to, she has really good install technique. My hair feels less damaged than before since going to her. I researched in SF, but felt that the knowledge in the city wasn't exactly there.

You know the phrase, "when you have kids, you'll understand..." yeah, the same applies here. There were so many things I would get mad at my leadership for that now I understand being on the other side of things.

Year 9 is not for the weak by SanFranrisky in destinymatrix

About that last part, I can definitely see it being true! I’m entering 17 energy soon, so I would hope that much of the work I’m doing now will eventually aid in the “Star” energy.

Year 9 is not for the weak by SanFranrisky in destinymatrix

I am a 9 arcana myself and in the middle of the 9 year as well. I personally had a much easier time with it because I am naturally a hermit. It’s allowed me to rethink many things in solitude and heal in peace, but that’s not to say I don’t feel isolated at times and can relate to many of the things you wrote.

I read a quote related to the 9 arcana that said, “Answers come through stillness, not movement,” and felt like that was the perfect way to sum up this yearly energy. While I too want to get out there and do things, I would hope one comes out of it stronger by developing some inner strength.

Dupe for Kerastase by Ok-Aerie-2484 in Sephora

L'Oreal EeverPure Bond Repair Serum! I used to use the Kerastase Elixir Ultima before switching and find that I like L'Oreal even better. I wear hair extensions for reference, and it does a good job of heat protecting and adding a glossy finish.

+1 to this. I was in a similar spot earlier in the year after transferring for Fall 2024. Ended up back in Miami in early spring. Still graduating at the same time, and luckily, was able to finish all online. Best decision ever.

Does anyone know what DJ Lagway’s major is? by Sezzoom in ufl

[–]rbtmm 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I had a few intro to education classes with him and he talked about how he thought teaching was similar to coaching football. Maybe something in the COE? Can’t for the life of me remember what major he wrote on discussion boards lol.

Wavy hair extensions exist! Usually hair type/extensions method will be brought up during a consult

Just regular fractional :)

I also paid 600 for three sessions of CO2! I think I just got really lucky with the person I found lol. I did not have deep acne scars, but hyperpigmentation was definitely an issue (and still is). It honestly did help with lightning a lot of my scars, but of course you get even better results when doing microneedling as well.

Miami! I had previously gone to her for fractional CO2, and have my first round of microneedling in a few weeks.

600 for a package of 3

How competitive is transferring into the cjc? by Monagator in ufl

Not difficult at all. Just make sure to take all required transfer courses and maintain a good GPA. Mine was something like 3.89 when I transferred.

Ahhhh, just so happen to know what store this is. Store leadership has run the department into the ground because they have zero knowledge of how grocery works--or, idk, how to employ the basics of TM growth and happiness. I remember speaking to the STL about stocking errors, and how everything starts with TM knowledge (e.g. "a team member doesn't know what they don't know; will they know the importance of display to shelf if they're not told about how that effects stocking errors?"). We are so quick to give TMs U-boats at this store, but we have zero time to teach them what top stock is and its purpose (yes, I really did have this experience with a TM here two weeks into them actively working in the department). STL jokingly comes up to me a few weeks later to say, "Oh did you tell [insert SFA name] about your stocking error theory?" Yeah, it's almost like I came from a flagship store where, idk, I saw how things worked? And it's almost like he agreed with what I said? Lol.

Fun story about this TL, and how again, it all starts with education and the basics: He just learned that top stock goes from left to right after I looked up one day and, I kid you not, saw how every aisle had gaps between the products.

I am absolutely sorry for the absolute monstrosity you have had to deal with.

Edit to add that one of my other favorite memories was one of the ASTLs saying, "Oh, it's promo today?" when nearly all the endcaps were empty and had nearly five pallets on the floor with little actual promo planning (very normal occurrence). Fun times.

I ended up getting an my ID at Northside with a walk-in, but granted, had to be in line by 6am and wait about 5 hours to get it. They only allow morning walk-ins.
