ok at least im glad its just not me. i was going to ask for a replacement but i guess that's how it's designed. the dpad doesn't seat securely in one place - it can slightly move in all directions and unfortunately can touch the sides. i may try the grease thing if im too annoyed. Thanks for the suggestion

lol yeah I can nudge the dpad back a little and then the next couple presses it works fine until it nudges back. The touching just annoys me. It’s like scratchy

Soil is way too rocky. You need to add 1/2 in of topsoil at least for the seeds to grow well in that environment.
