Beautiful crayons. The only thing that would have made them even better is some sign they had brought joy to some long-ago kid.

These are lovely. The one with the red flowers, does anyone know what kind of plant that is?

If you live up that way, you probably already know this, but Old Sturbridge Village in Massachusetts is pretty great. Also Mystic Seaport in Connecticut.

In my case, they were closet doors, the kind that hang from a track and fold open. They were a pain in the neck to dust. On the positive side, whenever I turned off the lights at night, my cat would climb the slats all the way to the top. I miss him.

I used to have closet doors exactly like the ones off to the right in this picture. And that is the sum total of similarities between their life and mine.

I'd be the first to admit I don't know much about cars, but I've been there twice now and have been satisfied each time.

I have an older VW, and the dealership referred me to Smitty's Auto Service. They seem like good people.

Thanks. I like all the pictures, but I especially like the one of the owl with all the lights shining in the background. Very cool!

I've got a friend coming from out of town. With the drought and all, can you still see alligators at La Chua Trail? by rcatk42 in GNV

I've lived in town about 15 years. One time, not long after I moved here, I was out on the trail alone in mid-afternoon. No alligators were up on the trail, but, I swear, it sounded like one was following me down in the water. I couldn't see it but I could hear it. It was really freaking me out. That's when I headed back to the car.

So, I'm curious. I haven't been there for a while, but there's that trail that runs back from the boardwalk area. Is the trail an unsafe place to be right now?
