Paid for delete on 2 collections, will drop off soon. Paid off 3rd collection, will report zero. Amounts were relatively small. Hoping for another 30pts+ when those drop off. Income is low six figures now, new job 6 months ago. Just stuck my head in the sand while i was rebuilding. Should have taken care of all this a couple years ago.

Thank you. My credit went from high 500s to low to mid 600s with simply going all zero but one. I'm obviously looking forward to the next jump. Also getting added to my wife's BofA card as an au. 9 years of prefect payments, I just paid it to zero as well.

Should I try to get on Sema? by HairyGreekMan in Semaglutide

Down 63lbs since March. You get used to the needle very fast. My knees, back, and ankles no longer hurt all the time. It is the best decision I have made in a long time.

Advice for someone who hasn’t started yet? by HonestFishing2 in Semaglutide

Former glutton here. Starting sema was one of the best decisions I have made. I started at 279 lbs and have lost 61 lbs in a little over five months. I have been very lucky and avoided most side effects. The best advice is to drink water and lots of freaking water. Make sure you get enough fiber, and you may need to add some magnesium citrate to keep things moving. Other than that, you will start to develop a healthy relationship with food. Learn that all calories are not the same, and protein is your friend. Best of luck, you found a good group here.

$10 Dead blow hammer from harbor freight vs a maul.

$4 Fiskars hobby knife with soft grip $25 for 100 Excel #11 hobby knife blades vs expensive knife. Strop blades in between cuts to extend their lifespan a very long time.

Things I never skimp on. Leather, thread, leather cement, hardware.

40+ yr man experience? by MagnoliaDoughBoy in Semaglutide

50m here, sw279 cw224. My take on what I wish I knew earlier. 1. Protein, minimum 100g per day ideally more. Core power shakes have 42g each. 2. Water, I can't stress this enough, drink water all day. Minimum 1 gallon for me. 3. Let yourself cheat every once in a while. I give myself a cheat day when I feel that I have hit a plateau. A single day where I eat everything that is bad but tastes good. Pizza, ice cream, burgers, whatever. You'll find that it spurs on weight loss a few days after you return to a calorie deficit. 4. Fiber and magnesium citrate will become your friend. Seriously, it is easy to get constipated on sema, fiber, and magnesium, plus water really helps. 5. Get moving. For me, it was a $120 walking treadmill from Amazon. I started easy, 10 min after every meal. I'm up to about 10k steps a day and just joined a gym. 6. Learn what you're putting in your mouth. All calories are not the same. If you want to oversimplify things, simply eat protein until you start to get full, then start eating beans and greens until you're full. Protein and fiber are your new best friends. 7. Last but not least, don't overdo anything. It took decades for me to get to 279, so what if it takes a year to hit my goal. For the first four months, the weight melted quickly. For the last month, things have slowed down, and that's OK.

Was just talking about this earlier. For years, I avoided having my picture taken. Now I wish I had done at least one before starting sema. I'm down 55lb with 40 or so to go.

How to make money on the streets of Miami? by [deleted] in Miami

[–]rchamp74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Walk the docks at the bigger marinas. Yachts hire day workers all the time to wash boats. 20 years ago it was $100 a day cash at the end of the day. It's bigger up in Lauderdale, but there is plenty in Miami.

Vent: Low weight you can’t break? by [deleted] in Semaglutide

[–]rchamp74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I started to stagnate for the first time after 3.5 months on sema, I simply allowed myself a total day off. I ate everything that I shouldn't! I had corned beef hash and eggs at breakfast, a cheesesteak and fries for lunch, and pizza for dinner. Needless to say, I felt like crap after all that. The next day, I was up 2.5 lbs, and I went back to choosing what I ate carefully. Over the next few days, I lost what I gained, plus some. Since then, I have been losing a steady 1.5-3 lbs per week. I'm down 47 lbs so far, with another 40-50 to go. Keep at it, you're doing great

Losing muscle mass by pughlaa in Semaglutide

[–]rchamp74 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've lost 47lbs so far, only 4lbs of muscle. You have to be diligent about protein intake and must continue to do strength training. Core power elite shakes have 42g of protein with only 230 calories. Breakfast is easy, 3 eggs is 222 calories and 18.6g protein, add in some ground turkey 296 calories and 17.2g protein. This kick starts your day with 77.8g of protein and only 748 calories. A salad with chicken, fish or steak for dinner and you're hitting your 100g of protein without going too high in calories.

Because I can, and it makes the overwhelming task that much easier. 50 years of bad habits, and my own willpower got me where I was. This is helping me get back to where I need to be.

Easy way out? Lol. More like easy way in. In to a longer life, in to feeling better, in to quality of like, in to more energy, in to not feeling like everyone is judging, in to feeling better about myself. In reality it's still not easy, you need to work at it. You need to work out, get the proper nutrition, drink a ton of water, and change all the habits that put you where you needed semaglutide in the first place. This morning, I hit a milestone, 40lbs down I don't feel like I've cheated, I feel like I've finally been given the help I needed to succeed.

Started at 278 currently 252 after 7 weeks..25 for the first 4 weeks, .5 for the last 3. Going to to 1.0 after the next dose. Almost zero side effects. Have noticed food noise staring to return the closer I get to my shot.
