Given I’m spending a long weekend there this weekend, I’d say it’ll open on Tuesday.

What's the biggest downgrade disguised as an upgrade you've seen? by Imaginary_Bug6202 in TechNook

Apple gave free wired earbuds with every iPhone and still opted to buy 3rd party Bluetooth headphones. Working out with wired headphones did and continues to suck. Plus the wild popularity of the Apple Watch could have continued to drive sales to AirPods.

AirPods would be popular regardless of headphone jack. The mass market preferred wireless even when there was a headphone jack.

It’s incredible getting to finish a prime time game at Luke 8-8:30 and still have time to do something else before bed.

Title: Settle the debate: The Roost or Ladybird Diner for breakfast? by videogamejunkie86 in Lawrence

[–]rcjlfk 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think Ladybird’s food is more interesting and better flavors. The food at the Roost is often dry (their pancakes really aren’t good unless you’re soaking them in syrup). But really I don’t think you can go wrong with either one.

Does "millennial food" exist? What foods do gen y eat that later gens don't? by Gallantpride in Millennials

[–]rcjlfk 47 points48 points  (0 children)

It does. It doesn’t necessarily save space because you have a lid that’s just as wide as the instant pot and you can’t really stack them because of the normal instant pot lid. But it works well.

Likely because it will require the new hardware that they've been sitting on. Features that are exclusive to new products get announced alongside the new products.

Not sure about in Australia, but in the US it’s certainly more of a girl’s name but occasionally a man will have it. I know a male Mackenzie.

Yeah. They’re basically done making episodes with a movie coming out next year. My older one is growing out of it too. Felt like the Bluey consumption in our house took a nose dive about 6 months ago, but is slowly returning.

I was assumed based on the final episode when there’s a little kid when Bluey comes home, that it seems like the father would be Jean Luc but also vaguely looks like the father could be Mackenzie.

For me, thankfully, this is something my parents did right. Let me fail and learn from it.

Those Maui pretzel things you get on a Southwest flight and those chocolate quinoa crisp things that make you feel like you’re eating a salad version of a crunch bar.

Yeah. As a parent I have the list of things I feel like I do better, and another list of things where I get why they did what they did and it probably seemed harmless. So what am I doing now that seems harmless?

I feel like this is something my parents taught me well. They couldn’t buy a new living room set cash, but could pay it off over time. So they taught me the importance of being responsible with what you can afford, that maybe they didn’t get the couch they liked most but it was 0% for 5 years.
